"“Oh my God,” Catra said, barely above a whisper. “You’re rich as fuck, aren’t you?”
“Guilty,” Adora said, cringing a little. “Sorry. I thought Glimmer told you.”
“I’m gonna fucking kill her.” Catra shook her head, trying to wipe the stunned expression off her face. “I can’t believe she set me up on a blind date with a goddamn millionaire.”
“Yeah,” Adora said awkwardly. “Oops.”
“It’s—” Catra shook her head. “Okay, Glimmer aside, how would you paying for my tuition even work? I mean, we—we’ve only been on one date, and it’s not even over yet.”
“It’s a crazy idea,” Adora said. “I know. Just—just forget I said anything.”
Maybe it was the buzz of alcohol, or maybe it was the shock of finding out she was on a blind date with a rich person, but Catra couldn’t stop herself from blurting, “Well, I didn’t say no.”
A beat.
Adora blinked, looking up at her. “What?”
Or: Catra is a physics PhD student struggling to balance life, work, and loans. When her friend sets her up on a blind date, she doesn't expect it to be with the most attractive millionaire she's ever seen. They work out an arrangement.

Summary
Adora made a promise to herself when she was thirteen: "Before you graduate high school, you should make the most out of life and go on a journey." Five years later, and with graduation, college and work in her future, Adora thought that her promise would never be kept. Until she ran into a woman named Catra.
The two of them, knowing that this opportunity was now-or-never, joined to become travel partners. Together, they journey across the United States in the footsteps of a famous traveller, leaving behind the mundane life of exams and part-time jobs. They seek enlightenment, adventure, fun, and maybe even love...
But all throughout, Adora has only one lingering question: What exactly convinced Catra to go on this journey? Is she looking for something? Or... is she running away from something?

Under the guidance of her advisor, King Adora proposes to Princess Cyra Elizabeth Driluth, the fourth, of Halfmoon, the kingdom of wild magic and mystical creatures known as the magicats. Two problems, Adora's convinced Princess Cyra will kill her before the first night of the marriage can even take place, and she doesn't get to see her bride until the day of the wedding two months from the time she meets Cyra. If she survives will she be able to handle this new strategy that will leave her at the mercy of a Halfmoon princess? And who is this mysterious Catra she keeps running into in the kitchens of her kingdom?
Catra was certain she could handle this arranged marriage, she knew her way around a kingdom and knew as much of Arksia as she could have learned from the extensive libraries of Halfmoon. But this veil is itchy and she has to hide from Adora and everyone but her mothers for two months? No way, she and melog decide, sneaking out to the Arksia kitchens and exploring the castle. In her explorations, she runs into Adora, and if Adora doesn't know its her then theres no harm right? Melog disagrees but they cant say anything anyways. This was gonna be a piece of cake... Right?

"I don't think 'retirement' is the actual word for it though- Oh!" He snaps his fingers, looking like he remembered something. "She's getting discharged! From the military! That's the word." he smiles to himself like he just finished a puzzle, seemingly satisfied.
"Oh? Military, huh?" She is caught by surprise, she can only imagine what a militarized female version of her boss looks like.
Or: Catra works in Adam's tatto parlor. But then, suddenly, his sister gets discharged from the army and everything just kind of goes downhill from there.

Summary
Entrapta's thrilled that her companions are finally showing some interest in her experiments.
In fact, they're showing so much interest that Bright Moon's Queen herself is the one to insist that her next experiment should be remotely conducting surveillance of Catra's day-to-day behavior to help better understand her species. Well, what kind of scientist would Entrapta be to deny such a study?
Or: Glimmer gets revenge on a certain feline by having Entrapta set up a hidden camera in the library to terrorize the magicat during her afternoon nap with a remotely controlled laser pointer, passing it all off as a justifiable science experiment. Predictably, both Bow and Adora get roped into spectating the event.
Things do not go as planned.
