Summary
Steve gives Eddie a lesson on dirty talk, but things start to get carried away.
OR
“Fuck, Steve.” Eddie pulls at the hem of his shirt, desperately trying to stretch it beyond his crotch where he is most definitely about to tent his pants. Maybe if he wore boxers it would have been easier to conceal. “I don’t think we should do this.”
“It’s okay. It just means we’re doing good, right?” Steve slides his hips forward, making his sweats tighten against the bulge between his own legs.
Eddie lets his eyes linger there for longer than he should. There’s no way that Steve is getting turned on by all of this, but shit, he is. The proof is in the pudding—if the pudding is his dick that is suspiciously growing under the heather grey fabric.

“We just gonna hump each other like teenagers?” Steve pants into Eddie’s neck, licking him like he just wants to taste.
“I’m good with that,” Eddie replies tightly.

Summary
Apparently, when you adopt a bunch of children and they want to go to the movies, you’re not allowed to say no. Give a mouse a cookie, and everything, right? Give teens a movie, and they’ll want a bucket of popcorn. Give them popcorn, and they’ll want to have a drink to go with it. Give them a drink, and they’ll want something sweet. It’s endless, it’s fucking endless, and Eddie had no goddamn clue in the universe that Steve Harrington was incapable of putting his foot down.

Summary
Eddie’s eyebrows are raised. He’s speaking deliberately. “My first grade teacher set up a meeting with Wayne and told him she thought I had autism. So Wayne took me to the doctors and it turned out she was right.”
He is still looking at Steve. Oh. Steve’s been staring at him like an idiot for forty seconds instead of acknowledging this important, incredibly personal detail that he has just shared. Steve remembers eye contact––one, two, three––then answers. “That’s cool.”
“Steve,” Eddie says, carefully. “Have you ever been tested? Because I’ve been noticing… When I look at you, I kinda see some signs.”
•
Or: the autistic Steddie fic.
Steve was diagnosed with autism at age four. His parents never told him.
Eddie was diagnosed with autism at age six. Wayne taught him to love it.
In 1986, after their lives get irrevocably intertwined, Eddie sees past Steve’s slipping mask, and helps him uncover a part of himself he’d long forgotten.•

Summary
Eddie’s an idiot. He knows he’s an idiot. He was an idiot when he asked Steve to move to Indy with him, despite his massive crush on the man. He was an idiot when he got used to Steve in his space, cooking dinner and being an all-around perfect man. He was an idiot when he started turning people down at the bar he went to on Saturdays, and he was an idiot when he stopped going all together, just so he could join Robin and Steve’s movie nights in her apartment. He got used to Steve in every aspect of his life and he was an idiot for… forgetting. Forgetting they weren't even together and it was all just Eddie being caught up in his own head.

Eddie’s internal monologue is really on point with the way I imagine. Also, the dialog is good.

Summary
Steve has heard about this. In fact, Dustin would not shut up about it a few days ago, when Steve had picked him up from a D&D session at the Wheeler’s – "Eddie says he got a motorcycle, which is so badass, I wonder what it looks like, why aren’t you that badass, Steve," etcetera. And since then it's been popping up in conversations everywhere, all these offhand comments about how loud or fast or cool or stupid it is, depending on the source. He'd acted disinterested. He was disinterested.
Now he sees it for himself, sees Eddie leaning over it with one boot planted firmly on the ground, lifting up a pair of goggles to squint towards the storefront, and, well. Steve's always known he’s been lying to himself – about a lot of things, actually – but now he really feels ridiculous.

Summary
“I used to give Nancy massages,” Steve says.
It’s out before he even knows where it came from. Really it’s like somebody else said it, commandeering his voice — the thought process didn’t happen, or if it did, it happened without Steve’s supervision. Maybe something to do with brown waves of hair, dimmed lights. He’s too busy balking at his words to retroactively connect any dots, at the moment, so he can’t be too sure.
Eddie’s just as confused, it seems, because he goes completely still. The silence hangs heavy, for the three or four seconds it’s there, and Steve wishes he could see Eddie’s face. Finds himself incapable of guessing at the expression he might be wearing right now. He just has to stare at the back of his head, the tensed line of his shoulders, until Eddie finally says, “Oh, yeah?”

Steve is starting to feel like his life is just one disaster after another. He didn't mean to make friends with Eddie Munson along the way, but for some reason he's always there, and if anyone knows how to get up again after being knocked down then it's him.
