Bruce seems to have uncovered suspicious similarities in scores of deaths across the U.S. spanning decades. There is no link between the victims aside from a repeated stab pattern during their murder. Like a signature, hidden in an art piece.
Together, the two men set out to uncover whoever is behind these vicious deaths. But Bruce Wayne has secrets of his own and Clark is left wondering how many skeletons are buried at Wayne Manor.

“You missed me that much, huh?” He grins.
Bruce hmph’s and then opens his mouth – more than likely to throw some sort of insult in Clark’s direction – so Clark choses this exact moment to press both fingers inside.

They hadn’t actually discussed this, which was unlike them. But sometimes Clark liked to be spontaneous, and sometimes Bruce liked to humor him.
“I was waiting to see how long you could,” Clark answered honestly.
