They’re mostly numb by this point, and Sizhui huffs gently on them before once more wrapping his arms around himself, pulling his knees up to his chest.
There’s no telling what hour it is. Past curfew, most likely. Are people out looking for him, right now? Or are they merely getting ready for bed, unwilling to risk going out into the storm.
