She's aware closing her eyes might mean she'll never open them again. She can run. But it's no use. She can't escape her destiny. Cursed with neverending nightmares, she can only protect her sanity, or more like what's left of it. Or not. It doesn't really matter in the end. Red was born to suffer.

Summary

Hope always knew she was the tribrid, that she was meant to destroy Malivore, she was their greatest weapon and their greatest fear. Landon grew up knowing he was a phoenix and the son of Malivore. Despite destiny saying they should be enemies the two kids formed an unbreakable bond becoming each other's family. After their escape the two end up in Mystic Falls where they meet some interesting people. Despite how hard they've fought they'll realize they've never been able to change their fate.

the rain covers her head to toe in water. her hair flattened, her jacket soaked as she can feel the thread of her newly-sewn drawing on the back slowly rip off and loosen. her socks squelching under the water trapped in her sneakers.
