Buck was given up by the Buckley parents, once Daniel died. He was given to Prescott Academy, a place they trained children to be assissians, they teach them at a young age.
He left and became inactive in his early twenties, and became a firefighter instead.
He kept his past to himself.
That is until Hardman, his academy trainer shows up at the firehouse saying Agent 83 (Megan) has been taken, along with her husband Roger.
Buck must keep Agent 83's (Megan) daughter safe.
Buck gets reactived (Agent 81) to the mission, to find Agent 83, who was also his best friend since the academy.

Buck was sent to camp green lake when he was fifteen, which is a sort of juvie camp, they have to dig a whole in the desert 5 feet wide, 5 feet deep daily to build character and learn their lesson, and get treated poorly. But Buck was sent for a crime he never committed.

Will Byers, now as Finney Blake, had finally found his happy place on earth.
But what happens when he decides to return to Hawkins? How will his friends react to his changed self? How will his old friends react to his new ones? Finney Will have to try to survive in his old city, while trying that his old and new friends don’t kill each other.

Will Byers is found after the Upside Down. Joyce thinks the worst is over.
She’s wrong.
Lonnie Byers calls CPS, claiming Joyce is an unfit mother. The system believes him. Will is taken from Hawkins and sent to Denver with his father, now calling himself Terrence Blake, his new wife Hope, and his daughter Gwen. His name is changed to Finney Blake, and Hawkins is erased from his life.
Terrence is still abusive. Still cruel. Still dangerous. But Hope never tries to replace Joyce, and Finney finds something he hasn’t felt in a long time: safety.
In Denver, Finney makes friends, boys who understand fear and survival all too well. Then they start disappearing.
Finney survives the Grabber and the black phone, only to be dragged back to Hawkins, separated from Gwen, and forced into silence. No one knows what happened in Denver.
Until a tape labeled The Black Phone appears.
Set post–Season 4. The Byers never moved to California.
