Seasons ago, Cats from the Mountains settled in the Forest, and their Descendants, the 3 Clans of Shadowclan, Riverclan and Windclan, hunt and contest the forest for territory. After Brokenstar, a Ruthless Tyrannical Leader, comes to power in Shadowclan, A Section of their clan breaks off, forming a new clan and settling in the uninhabited and contested forest, disrupting the balance of power.
In the Midst of it all, 3 cats emerge, A Warrior of Windclan, fighting for a Legacy he cannot hope to keep, a Young and Promising apprentice of the fledgling Clan, trying her hardest to help them survive, and most strangely, a Kittypet, who may turn out to be the bravest Warrior of them all.
