Waking up in the Dragon Age World should mean this is all just a dream. Only there’s a voice in my head calling itself Love. Things keep going off script. And the one romantic choice I never pick, Solas, seems to know who I really am, and keeps calling me Vehnan.
The line ‘In another world’ has always fascinated me. What if Solas found out the woman he loves is from another world? What if he found out she wasn’t really the elven woman he thought she was? And what if he found this all out too late and still went ahead with his original plan? What would he do when his plan ultimately failed?
(The author fully admits, in her arrogant opinion that his plan is doomed to failure, as the elves have yet to learn from their mistakes, and would simply reenact them.)

Arthur is a world class violinist, trapped in Sydney, Australia, by his fear of flying. In the wake of a mediocre concert, vicious critics and with barely a month to go before his next (hopefully reputation-saving) recital, Arthur is almost at breaking point. When his accompanist, Morgana, breaks her wrist in a car accident, Arthur is more or less doomed. And the story begins, when the Maestro at the conservatoire, Gaius Stresemann, recommends his protege Merlin Emrys to step in. Merlin, who plays by ear, as he pleases and really just wants to be a kindergarten teacher.
Well. The story really starts six months previously when Arthur passes out drunk outside Merlin's shoe-box apartment.

“Hey, buddy. You gotta calm your heart rate down, remember? Breathe, man. Breathing’s good. Find your center. Hum Kumbaya. Get a hold of yourself, Scott.”
Nails still too sharp to be safe, Scott reached up, fingers twisting into the dangling hoodie strings and tugged. Stiles hissed in warning, one hand wrapped firmly around Scott’s wrist.
It was a grounding touch, between those worn strings and the callous press of Stiles’s thumb against his pulse the heavy vice around Scott’s ribs let go and he breathed.
The others watched with wary hope as he straightened in his seat, his hairline edged with cold sweat.
Stiles gave his shoulder one last awkward pat before he peeled his fingers off of Scott’s hand and said, “So, I’m going to take a guess that we’ve got a problem here.”
