Tommy was starting to wonder if the new wings on his back were a hallucination or not. Anything could go at this point. Tommy had hallucinated enough due to hunger and sickness to know when things felt unreal.
But then again, the shifting of said wings or even the slightest touch upon them was a constant reminder to him.
This wasn’t a hallucination or a dream.
The wings were real.

Phil nodded in muted agreement. “We know it's going to be a bit of an adjustment period. We’re ready for it” Techno continued. “You’re going to have bad days, you’re going to yell and scream, you might even run. Hell, you might hurt Phil, me, or Wilbur if you feel threatened enough, but we won’t take away gifts or your space. I promise, the worst thing that might happen is a conversation once you’ve calmed down, and if it's really bad, extra chores.”
Tommy stared at Techno like he’d grown a third head. He’s gotta be fuckin joking. “...that's it?” He mumbles. “That's it. You don’t believe me and frankly I wouldn’t either. Just trust the process okay? We'll show you we mean it” Tommy just nodded. Technos fucking full of it.
