Gorgeous, aching pre-series AU, in which the over-priviliged Lewis Nixon (a lonely teenager who neither owns nor loves anything real) spends the summer in Lancaster County, where he meets the solid sincerity that is Dick Winters. This full, satisfying romance shows the precursors to who these characters will become as men, with Lewis' restlessness and sarcastic wit balanced by Dick's dry humor and steadiness. Non-explicit, slightly underage, well-written and captivating throughout.

His movements now are most definitely feline: licking his lower lip, subtly arching his back, eyes trained on Walt in a predatory fashion. Jesse looks like a damn jungle cat and Walt suddenly feels like someone’s dad in a Red Lobster with his slightly oversized brown sports coat and blue paisley tie.
