Gladio happens to be looking out the window when Noct steps out of the library, nose buried in his phone and twirling a bottle around and around in his other hand.
“I didn’t know your type was small, dark and scowling,” Prompto says.
Gladio jumps, slopping most of the full drip tray down the front of his apron. Prompto very obviously bites back a laugh and slaps a clean dish towel into his chest.
“I don’t have a type,” Gladio mumbles. It’s true, kind of - Gladio likes people.
“I think you’d have better luck if you wore your hat the right way round,” Prompto says while Gladio is still mopping up the mess.
“What?”
“I’m just saying he doesn’t look like he’s in to frat boys,” Prompto says.Alternatively: The new Lucis Caelum Library might block out the sun a little in the afternoons but Gladio doesn't really mind because the guy working there is really cute.
