Though it had been a while since Iruka had indulged in his pranking proclivities, needs must. No matter that he was fond of his target and the effect she had had on some of the students in his class. In a village where it was a fight to so much as raise the graduating age, he could not set the precedent that people were free to intervene in his classroom without consequences, no matter how mild they may be in this case.
And if he happened to also target the person who not only was a shining example of interfering any and everywhere he pleased but was also Iruka's biggest headache at the mission desk? Well, that was no one's business but his own.
Besides, nothing got his students engaged in work more than cool stories about the ones that came before them.
