Summary
Everyone thinks Sonic is dead, but Shadow refuses to believe that. He will keep fighting and searching for Sonic even if the rest of his friends believe the lies that Eggman is spreading. When Shadow is captured he is given the prefect chance to rescue Sonic.
They have to fight against more than just physical threats though. Sonic seems convinced that he is sick and the only person that can sure him the the evil doctor himself. Shadow knows better than to trust Eggman, he will not be fooled by his schemes. Shadow will escape the doctors grasps, but a strange new mobian stands in his way. An unsettling energy surrounds this new jackal. Shadow may not be able to save Sonic much less himself from the overpowering energy of this new threat.

It is said that concepts are better understood went it is grouped into threes: Survival depended on food, water, and shelter. Hard work needed one's blood, sweat, and tears. Gravity was split into three laws of motion.
The Ultimate Lifeform was the same. Being separated into three hedgehogs of incredible power.
The oldest. Black, red, and determined to protect.
The middle. Blue, green, and aching for freedom.
The youngest. Grey, gold, and filled with hope.
...and G.U.N was making the Ultimate Lifeforms suffer.
