Summary
A collection of some of the Febuwhump prompts, focusing on Bucky whump and hurt/comfort. He's not having a good month...
Prompts used so far:
1. Head Injury - Bucky takes a hit to the head and falls, and his main concern is making sure Sam is safe.
2. Nightmares - Between Endgame and TFATWS, Bucky's suffering from sleep deprivation and Sam finds out about his nightmares for the first time.
3. "Let Me See" - Bucky's left shoulder is painful when he's cold, and a rough mission makes it worse.
4. Spiked Drink - Bucky is poisoned by someone seeking revenge.
5. "Too weak to move" - Sam and Bucky are captured for Bucky's value as a supersoldier and Sam's value as a hostage. Their treatment of Bucky has him weakened and relying on Sam to get them out.
6. "I'll never forgive you" - Sam tries to give Bucky a good day but he feels that he doesn't deserve it. Sam sets him straight.
7. Presumed dead - Sam and Bucky take on a mission that reminds Bucky of the past, and it's traumatic for both of them.- Language:

Summary
Movie night started like all the others. No one could agree on what to watch. They bickered about it as Bucky did the dishes. They would eventually pick something, only for John and Ava to interrupt the movie with an argument. Months together as an official team, and they have yet to watch a movie all the way through. It was routine at this point, comfortable, safe.
But when Bucky suddenly drops the plate in the sink with haunted eyes and abruptly leaves the floor, none of them know what to do. Bob, knowing more than he should from being inside all their heads during the Void incident, decides to go after Bucky. Once the two come back and Bucky reveals what happened, the Thunderbolts are faced with a choice: reciprocate and reveal one of their own demons, or don't and keep themselves distant.
Does this ragtag team of broken souls trust each other enough to take that leap of faith?

Ava turned, eyes wide like a kid caught with a hand in the cookie jar. Bucky’s gaze automatically dropped to the hoodie. His hoodie. The one hanging off her like evidence at a crime scene.
Of course, Yelena noticed, and pounced without hesitation. “Ohh, look at that. Now you’re matching! So romantic.”
Bucky choked on his coffee. “It’s— it’s just a hoodie,” he managed.
“Sure,” John said again. “Whatever helps you sleep at night.”
Some… circumstances find Ava borrowing Bucky’s hoodie, and it’s a whole thing.
OR; this had to happen i’m not sorry. including a sleepy Ava, what could go wrong?

Jason Todd wakes up six feet under ground. Then he starts to remember how he got there. Jason escapes his coffin and remembers the words said in his fight with Bruce.
"I'm not your father Jason, I don't need a teenage rebellion from you."
Instead of searching out Bruce on his way out of the cemetery Jason wanders around Gotham in a catatonic-like state.
Years later, and with help from Talia, he manages to get into med school and start his residency. Unfortunately for him the only place that he never wanted to return to is the one place that still has available spaces to take on the beginners... and Bruce Wayne was going to give a speech to the new residents in the hospital that very day.

And she tries to meet his eyes. But the flickering’s getting worse, the hum in her chest feeling like a broken, discordant note ever spreading outward. She reaches out to him with her half-phased hand, voice catching somewhere between breath and fear.
“I can’t—”
His own - Bucky’s flesh one - grabs for her shoulder in an attempt to ground her. Or at least, it tries to - except the hand goes right through her body. A look flashes across his face, and she recognizes it well: shock. Followed closely by confusion, then helplessness.
For one wild moment, her stomach drops. This is it. She’s disappearing for real.
Except Bucky doesn’t stop moving. Tries again, fails, tries again to touch her. “—shit,” he hisses. “Wait. Hold on.”
For some reason, he switches hands. His other arm — the one made of vibranium — moves through the haze of her body this time.
And somehow, it connects.

In London after the destruction of the Hydra factory, Steve and Bucky discuss what happened in the isolation ward. Seventy years later, Bucky reflects on that conversation.
“What did go on?” Steve asked quietly.
Bucky leaned over, elbows on his knees. “Zola tried some of his gadgets out on me.”
“What was he trying to do? Do you know?”
“I’ve been searching for a suitable candidate for some time. You, Sergeant, have all the qualities I need. Strength, of course, and a raw intelligence, the ability to think on one’s feet, as they say. But most important of all, you have the killer instinct.”
“I am not a killer.”
“You have killed in battle. Do you think that does not count?”
“Plenty of other guys have done the same. Why me?”
Bucky closed his eyes. You are not here, you twisted little freak. So shut your fucking mouth. God, he really was cracking up. This sort of thing got people committed.
“He was trying to create super soldiers.”
Steve inhaled sharply.

Bucky cleared his throat and said, "Today's the day I 'died' in 1944."
"I see."
It was one of those days. The anniversary of some loss that messed you up when it came around again, no matter how long ago whatever happened had happened or how well your life was going in the present. Everyone who served had at least one. The day Riley died had been Sam’s first. In some ways, it was still the most painful.
"It's also the Winter Soldier's birthday." Bucky held up his empty glass in mock salute.
