Summary
Lt. Israel Hands is not having an easy time of it. The merger between police departments means he has to play nanny to a crew of sloppy misfits, while his captain gets chummy with one Stede Bonnet. Disrupting things even further, there's been a murder in town and the cowboy cop Jack Rackham is sent to help investigate. But nothing is quite what it seems, and Izzy finds himself falling into a dark place where he will ultimately have to choose: loyalty to his captain or the mysterious new stranger?
