“You don’t want to tweak it, you want to ruin it!” Megumi pouted. “…Maybe tweak it a tiny bit.”
“That’s all I ask,” Gojo agreed, beginning to gently separate the chunks of hair. “I wouldn’t want to stop you looking cool.”

“Mr. Gojo, that is enough.” Minho raised his voice a bit, furrowing his brows in seriousness. “Despite that you have cared for these kids and what you may claim, you have no proof.”
No proof? He wanted to shout out and rip everything he ever knew to shreds. His own body was fighting against him. His body wanted to run, but his mind wanted to attack, he saw red. Attack, kill, fight. Fight for his kids.
His kids, not Toji’s.

“Leave me alone.” Megumi demanded, staring at Satoru pitifully from inside the nest of blankets he’d fashioned.
He sneezed again, as if he needed to drive the point home that he really was ill.
Satoru grimaced at the sneeze, praying that his infinity blocked whatever illness Megumi had caught, and raised an eyebrow at the six-year-old, “It’s polite to cover your mouth when you sneeze.”
Megumi grumbled and rolled over so he was facing away from the white-haired teenager, blanket pile shifting on top of him, “I know. I just don’t like you.”
Satoru pulled a face at his back, sticking out his tongue and scrunching up his nose. Kids were so gross.

Peter Parker had been Spider-Man for five months and things were looking up. The beautiful and intelligent Gwen Stacy was showing interest in him. He found budding friendships with the Avengers. His reputation was growing in New York City. Spider-Man seemed to be at the top of his game and Peter Parker was finally regaining his footing after the death of his Uncle Ben.
But as Gwen lamented his lack of attentiveness, the Avengers sniffed around Spider-Man's secret identity, and a mysterious man with a strange power and a terrifying plot emerged, Peter realized that he still had a lot to learn about leading this life he'd chosen.
And with tragedy poised over his head, ready to fall, Peter was going to need to learn fast.

But that’s ok, he’s gotten used to it, and he has other things to hang onto, his friends, his aunt, and his secret life running around in spandex.

Peter always knew he was the odd one out in his family. It wasn't like he didn't try, he did try to be apart of the family just when he was younger and it never worked. He was never able to connect with anyone, at least not the way Harley connected with their dad, or the way Morgan had everyone wrapped around her little finger since the day she was born.
Peter was just there, in a way he believed that he wasn't important, not to his family anyway. That was what he always believed, at least before he got his powers and became the one and only Spider-man.
Maybe there was a reason why he was always the odd one out after all.
