Summary
So I'm writing a novel about my oc's, and I figured ao3 was as good a place as any to save it in case my computer crashes or something. I'll post chapters as I write them. It's a sci-fi world, and takes place in New Moscow where Alix, a homeless girl with a haunted past, tries to hide her powers to avoid the stigma that comes with being a аномалии. However, she's blackmailed into becoming a spy for a rebellion group in the city, who want to take down the Davies Hero Commision, a private company that hires and commissions superheroes to others, all over the world. While spying there, she meets Esra, a hero-in-training and the legal ward of Marlon Davies, the CEO of the company. Both girls are running from their pasts, and they're both definitely hiding things, but there's a spark. A connection. But tensions in the city are rising, and it quickly looks like the two girls will end up on the opposite sides of a war for the very future of New Moscow.
I'm an amateur writer, so constructive criticism is greatly appreciated! Is the dialogue clunky? Does the pacing feel off? I'm open to any and all advice! Thank you!

There's magic on his tongue, he's in his childhood home, and his family is still dysfunctional but they are at least together. He can prevent their destruction if he can just get past his own grown fears of them. He can do this by himself, it's what is best for them all. He can keep them from breaking apart, keep Wilbur and Tubbo from all the pain they've experienced. Tommy can do this for them, even if he's a little bit cracked now. If they get suspicious, well, what was that play Wilbur mentioned once? Hamlet? Tommy can just do what that guy did.
(Tommy time travels into the past and begins to disguise his traumatic responses as the same kind of Chat Madness his older brother Techno is known for. But madness begets madness, and how far can Tommy go with a lie that begins to bleed at the edges?)

Summary
Most nations dislike world meetings. They always end in arguments, nothing gets done, it’s a waste of time that could be spent eating, cooking, sleeping, playing video games, doing paperwork or any other activity. However this meeting — ending being transported to and having to navigate an alternate universe with its own personifications and magic — probably ranks among the worst meetings ever held.
Also it’s all England’s fault.
