I don’t know where this came from, but it popped into my head and then wouldn’t leave me alone! Very different from what I usually write—short, light, no cults or spiritual ruminations AT ALL. Our heroes are ballet dancers in something vaguely resembling the modern world.

Summary
Kathryn and Chakotay have been together for ten years. They seem to be happy together on Revairus, raising their daughter, but then a lot happens, out of nowhere and all at once—something shifts with an old friend, a new and intriguing acquaintance appears on the scene, and a long-lost sister appears on Earth after two decades of silence…
Content note: this story features the problem of attraction to others in marriage. Hint: they work it out. :) There are also some mentions of violence, much like in The Traveler’s Tale: nothing graphically described, just mentioned.
Additional note: This work features return of American Indigenous land as a background story/subplot. I recently became aware of the LandBack movement, and wanted to acknowledge it here. I hope it succeeds. In this story, land is bought back. It shouldn’t have to be.

Summary
Takes place after Kintsugi, two years after Chakotay and Kathryn have come to live on the Grey Moon. They’re happy with the life they’ve built, but nothing stays the same forever. A big change and a new threat from an old enemy will challenge them and their relationship to the limits.
Content note: Chakotay struggles with not being a parent in this story, and there are mentions of violence including abuse in some characters’ backstories. Nothing is described; it’s just mentioned.

Summary
Post-Endgame.
They both live on Earth, but haven’t spoken for four long years. Out of the blue, he’s sent her a message: he wants to see her. She needs to figure out if she can forgive him, but does she even understand what happened—in his heart or her own?
Takes place in a very made-up non-canon universe where a wormhole opened near Earth while Voyager was gone, leading the Federation to meet the people of the Yol Star Cluster and nearby worlds.

I couldn’t imagine asking him to go back to escorting me chastely to ship functions and dropping me at my quarters with a courtly bow.” Her voice went from mocking to quiet. “Not after the thunderstorm we had together. Not after I had lain beneath him and felt how he loves.” She was too tired to care whether she was speaking too freely with a man who might be uncomfortable with such sentiments, but John’s expression was kind and attentive. She sighed. “I loved him. I wanted him to be happy. How could I have asked him to live his life alone?”

Summary
Takes place sometime after “Tuvix” and before Kes leaves the ship.
Kathryn and Chakotay beam back from an away mission and find themselves “merged.” Tom and the Doctor try to work with the newly-discovered Caryakal people to find a way to reverse the condition. But the Caryakal might not be as friendly as they seem, and the cure is elusive. Tuvok and Kes use a mind meld to put the captain and her first officer into a shared “psychospace” in the hope that if they go somewhere together where they both felt happy, they can sort out some of what is causing their joined mind so much pain…
Canon compliant…but the rest of the series is not. :)

Summary
Kathryn Janeway, a social worker in the foster care system, is desperate for a placement for 14 year old Tom. She calls on Owen Paris, hoping the long time foster parent will offer his home and his heart to this lost boy.
Tom soon finds himself learning how to trust, and how to box as he joins an afterschool boxing program for inner city youth run by Owen and Chakotay.
Meanwhile, Chakotay finds himself falling hard for the social worker who will do anything to give kids a chance to flourish, and Kathryn can't keep the gentle man, who teaches kids more than boxing, from working his way into her heart.
