After their latest variety show, Yeonjun felt humiliated. Not because he went the farthest in the infamous pepero game—far from it—but because he backed out like a flustered schoolboy the second things got too close. He told himself it was just for fun. No big deal. No feelings. No meaning. So why did it feel like he’d failed some kind of invisible test?
Choi Yeonjun, a prude? Not quite. He was just… momentarily spiraling over a five-second variety show bit like it was a life-altering moment. The realization that maybe intimacy wasn’t some sacred, untouchable thing left him rattled. What if casual kisses and impulsive touches weren’t dirty little secrets, but just another way people connect? Honestly. Comfortably. Without fear.
So who better to ask for help than Soobin who made it all look easy, played along without pushing too far, laughed without flinching, and knew how to slow things down. He was warm. Safe. A sure thing.
The next pepero stick wouldn’t stand a chance. But neither would Yeonjun’s heart.
Or, after getting absolutely owned by Huening Kai during a game, Yeonjun cannot stop thinking about it. Desperate to shake the embarrassment, he turns to someone who’s always been safe: Soobin.

Summary
“Look, Soobinnie, we've been through this. It was one time, okay?”
Yeonjun put on his whiniest voice, the voice that always got him his way. He batted his eyelashes towards Soobin, trying not to giggle at the pink flush that scattered his cheeks. To distract, the latter scoffed, leaning away from Yeonjun.
So he took the break in proximity to shift his attention to Kai.
“Kai, you've got to hear me out. Cheating isn't my thing, but I guess relationships aren't my thing either… but anyway! I wouldn't cheat if I didn't have a good reason.”
“I literally already asked you why,” Kai said flatly.
Yeonjun was aware that Kai had asked him that, and honestly, he was buying himself time. He had a response that was a low blow, and he had to hesitate.
“Well, as wonderful and as perfect as my cute little Soobininie is… He’s also the worst sex I've ever had. I'm sorry.”
OR
In which Soobin and Yeonjun are two drama students with way too much time on their hands, so they try to convince a couple's therapist to repair their broken relationship.

Soobin feared his annoyance with Yeonjun was reaching a new level. “Will you stop that?”
“You’re the one who started it,” Yeonjun muttered. Soobin was about to answer that, no he wasn’t, but Yeonjun didn’t let him. “What the fuck is this, anyways? Is this some kind of prank from your side?”
Deadpanned, Soobin answered. “Do you seriously think I’d ever willingly tie myself to your side for a prank?”

Soobin and Yeonjun have never gotten along, despite how it’s their third year at university and in the same friend group. Their friends pretend that they are fine with it, although they’d much rather see them getting along. The same goes for the weird old lady that catches them bickering at a Christmas market, who ends up giving them weird advice that neither of them understands.
When they wake up the next day with handcuffs tying them together, it doesn’t take long before they realize they have been cursed. Because there is no keyhole, and thus no way for them to escape each other… unless they find a way to solve it, together.

Yeonjun is giving mixed signals; he knows. But who cares if Soobin is jealous, right? They had sex once, and that was it. He’s not hiding his promiscuity, and the fact that he’s trying to get Soobin’s hand on his stupid dick again, but his head still spins when Soobin’s reply lands: Do you want me to?
Does Yeonjun want him to? He’s afraid to find out the answer. Yeonjun stares at the screen and muses on a coherent reply, but he’ll soon forget, because Soobin sends an attachment. It’s a meme of a cat biting the hand of a guy playing video games. GIVE ME ATTENTION, the text underneath the meme reads, in a bold, thin San-serif font. You, Soobin says. Soobin realized he had his mouth slightly open, so he quickly shut it and turned to his friend again, attempting to pretend there was nothing happening with him, “Soobin-ah, you know you can tell me anything, right? I understand you, you know that.”
“Hyung, this is different,” Soobin shook his head, finally giving up.
“Because I’m not in love with one of my members?” Seungkwan asked, this time the look in his eyes wasn’t that of amusement, but instead, he took a motherly look that made Soobin feel safe, like he could tell him anything.
“I wouldn’t go that far,” he mumbled, too embarrassed to admit that was exactly the case.
“Alright, then, you like him a normal amount,” Seungkwan nodded, “enough that you want to kiss him for the rest of your life, let’s say.”
Soobin looked away as he blushed furiously, and his friend giggled when he saw his expression, making Soobin crack a tiny smile despite his embarrassment. “Yeah,” he finally admitted.
