Summary

(I always hated how many people dumb Luo Binghe down and say there's no way he would be a good parent, and so I wanted to express through this that it's more complicated than him being just an immature, incompetent manchild)

Shang Qinghua was itching to fight back. To say that, actually, technically, Shen Yuan was simply her employer and she was fairly certain sexual favors – not that she’d explicitly asked for them, but still – weren’t standard practice in offices around China. On the other hand, she was already resisting the urge to rub her thighs together to alleviate the ache that was forming between her legs, so. You win some, you lose some.

Hua Cheng, although he always seemed nonchalant and cold to others, acted differently around Xie Lian. His touches were hesitant, delicate, and very gentle. He was always whispering sweet nothings into Xie Lian’s ear to make him blush like crazy, holding his hand as if afraid to let go, taking him out on dates whenever they both had some free time after all the responsibilities at the university. To put it simply, they took their sweet time exploring the unfamiliar yet very wonderful path called love.
Xie Lian didn’t mind it at all. Their pace was sweet. Hua Cheng was cute.

He isn’t sure what compels him to track his eyes up the silhouette but it throws him back a little to see a very half-naked man stroll into the room.
Yin Yu’s attention is also stolen by the rustling in the kitchen and throws a glance over his shoulder. “Nice of you to finally join us. You couldn’t at least put on a shirt?” he says with a tinge of irritation.
“This is my house and I didn’t authorise any of you to be here. You’re lucky you got pants,” Hua Cheng gruffs, with his back still facing the lounge.
Yin Yu does not try to hide his exasperation and rolls his eyes. “This is Xie Lian. The lawyer I hired. For you.”
