“Feels like a dream,” Harry whispered, the words slipping out before he could think. His voice sounded rough, like maybe like he was drunk—just not on alcohol.
Louis hummed, lazy and content. “Hmm?”
“This. You,” Harry said, a little clearer.
Louis tilted his head back a bit to look at him, eyes slow-blinking and unfocused like he just woke up or never really needed to be fully awake. He looked so calm. So sure. And Harry wanted to believe that meant nothing was wrong. That it was okay to feel this good.
“I love you so much,” Louis said, smiling in that small way he always did when it was just the two of them. “If this is a dream, I want to stay in it forever. Your eyes are so green here.”
Harry’s throat tightened.

Harry wakes up on a yacht, shackled to a bed. He's told that he's been abducted, and is set to be sold in an auction within hours.
After Louis purchases him, puts on a show, then takes him back to his room, he informs Harry that things aren't how they seem. For him, anyway.
Harry is told that he'll have a choice to make when they dock in America the next day. Until then, he must act as Louis' slave, when in the company of the other sadistic men on the boat.
Relieved to possibly have the option to go home, Harry is able to admit his attraction to the man who'd been brought onto the boat under false pretenses.
He agrees to endure whatever treatment necessary from Louis, to keep the attention off of them, until they're away from the monsters on board. Knowing his freedom is hours away, it doesn't seem too difficult of a task.
Until he realizes he's not there alone.
