Summary
Mira was an outcast.
It was a fact.
She was the black sheep of her family, and she was fine with it.
But that did not mean that she still didn’t crave the love of her family, deeply yearning for their touch to fill the gaping void in her heart. It didn’t mean that her heart didn’t break every time she saw her parents shower her siblings with love, but discard her like she didn’t mean anything to them.

“You love him, don’t you?” Hirotsu had asked him that question when they were at the bar, a quiet question that was muttered so lowly that Chuuya might’ve missed it if he wasn’t paying attention.
That question rang in his head the entire night, but he couldn’t give an answer to Hirotsu, though he knew that he didn't have to; Hirotsu knew it all already.
“Love?” Chuuya laughs bitterly in the emptiness of his own home. “Yes, I love that bastard.” He throws back the drink, the alcohol burning unpleasantly in his throat. His mind was tipsy, but it wasn’t enough.
He needed more… he needed more to forget about that mackerel, to forget about that bastard whom he loved- no, whom he still loves.

Summary
Zoey and Mira had tried to bring up the topic subtly, but every time Rumi either changed the topic or skirted around it, never addressing it directly.
“One of these days, I’m going to tie her up in our dance studio in the basement and force her to answer my questions.” Zoey let out a frustrated sound at yet another failed attempt at conversation with their leader.
“Kinky but okay.” Mira sipped her coffee as she watched Zoey roll around on the couch.
It was a lazy day for Huntrix, they had just concluded their tour and had a one-week break before their next round of the World tour. Mira was watching a movie, and Zoey was helping Rumi bake cookies.
The youngest had tried to bring up Jinu while they were conversing idly, but Rumi just answered, “Oh, we were just friends… Our goals aligned, or so I thought, so we got along well.” Then she refused to elaborate further and started talking about new songs, which sidetracked Zoey from her mission.
“It’s not kinky, it’s an interrogation!” Zoey threw a pillow at the pinkette, who effortlessly dodged it.

He smirked, which told her that he was up to no good again. “Maybe it's fate?” he gently grazed her cheek, and she swatted it away lightly, a blush lighting her face.
“Stop joking around Jinu, I’m being serious.”
“I don’t know how, Rumi. Maybe it’s visible to the people who have known that you’re half demon? Anyways, the fewer people who see, the better. You might love sharing, but I’m not very keen on it. Especially this sight, it should only be reserved for a special few.” His eyes turned darker as he spoke, gently tracing the marks on her hands with his fingers.
Her face was a bright shade of red now, but she didn’t dismiss his touch. Instead, she reverted to the topic at hand. “Okay, so tell me, how did you meet them again?”

Summary
“Girls, this is going to be your new manager starting from today. Mr. Song, this is the group you’ll be handling, and I believe introductions are in order. This is our youngest, our main rapper, Zoey.”
Celine put a hand on Zoey’s shoulders while introducing her, and seemed to completely miss the dumbfounded look on all of the girls’ eyes. Then Celine waved towards Mira. “This is our main dancer, Mira.” And finally, she nodded towards Rumi, avoiding eye contact with the eldest. “This is the leader of Huntrix, our main vocalist, Rumi.”
“It’s a pleasure to meet all of you.” The guy dressed in all back greeted them politely, a small smirk on his lips. “I hope I can help Huntrix reach heights of success. Although Ms. Celine has already given my name to you, I would like to formally introduce myself again.”
He gave the entire group a small bow. Then, he looked straight at Rumi, and without breaking eye contact with the girl, he spoke up. “My name is Song Jinu. But you may call me Jinu. I hope we can get along well.”
