this story is about you 🫵 and epel, who's a prince in this au. you're a hunter that he took a liking to and captured for himself, and now he's trying to break you down into something reminiscent of a pet because you're stubborn. unfortunately, you decide to play his game and attempt to win at it, which he never saw coming. now the two of you are trying to get under each other's skin while the balance of power slowly shifts back and forth, regardless of titles.
this story will portray some examples of unhealthy relationships and once again, I DO NOT CONDONE THEM. this is a piece of fiction, not my personal beliefs on what a relationship should include. there will be no explicit nsfw in this one, but there will be talk of it. if you're not comfortable with any of this, please don't read it.

When you accidentally still the usually flamboyant archer into silence after he comes across you working in your atelier‒ you find that you’ve become a victim to one of his ceaseless stalkings. Though, you’ve been prey long enough to know how hunt the huntsman himself.
Reader based off of the myth of Pygmalion, but with a twist of sci-fi/cybernetic enhancements courtesy of the Shroud family. Rook is certainly a tricky character to write because part of his characterization being “mysterious and distant”, but as all humans have, there are layers underneath this simplicity that I thought would be interesting to explore through the avenue of the artist and the cyborg. GN pronouns and TW for some grooming, toxic adult presence, human experimentation mentioned (none of which are perpetrated by Twst characters)
