Summary
After ending his life on the rooftop of the Port Mafia headquarters, Dazai wakes up in a new world that appears utterly ordinary. He grows up consumed by boredom until he moves to Kamigoe city, where he meets Ayase Momo and Enjoji Jin, two classmates who reveal to him that the supernatural truly exists in this world.
And if gods truly exist here, then he must reclaim his dog.

“Sure, going undercover at a dumb, prestigious hero school is awful. And it’s even worse considering neither he nor his partner have any experience in the realm of proper education; kind of hard to ‘blend in’ with real students if they don’t know what they’re doing. Never mind the fact that this is a hero school and they are, you know, not exactly heroes.
But for some reason, that alone wasn’t difficult enough for Dazai.
Which leads to Chuuya’s current predicament: he’s standing at Dazai’s side in front of a bunch of starry-eyed kids and Dazai just introduced himself as Nakahara Chuuya.”Dazai and Chuuya are hired as bodyguards for UA’s number one problem class :) Obviously, Dazai decides to make this mission as difficult (as annoying for Chuuya) as possible by whatever means necessary.

Summary
“I’ve lived here my whole life, too, you know? But I know of the sky and the sea, of the sun and the moon. I bet you would have loved them.”
Something in Dazai's chest squeezed. It was so strange to think that the things he always took for granted, that were just there, must be a miracle to the creature trapped in the darkness.
“There are the stars in the sky, too. When it’s dark.” He allowed his hand to unfurl, and the boy watched it in wonder, his cold fingers tracing the lines on Dazai’s palms, as if studying them, committing them to memory. Then, this absurd creature placed his own hand against him, as if comparing.
“I would like to show them to you one day,” he said quietly.
Dazai didn’t believe he could, didn’t know if they would ever see the stars, or both rot here forever.
Or — Dazai finds a kindred soul in the tortured eyes of a boy stitched together into a semblance of a human being.
