Summary
Stan looked flimsy, unearthed. Infested. Concern sagged glowing pink eyes—buried alive beneath 6 feet of guck & crust. He looked plagued, looked stomach-curdling; just the sight of him told you his stomach was actively curdling, no examination necessary.
He looked gross.
Something gurgled at the back of Stan’s throat as frosted fingertips pressed down in search of inflammation. He looked good.
Wiping his hands on his jeans, Kyle flopped his patient’s arm over his shoulder and heaved. 1st order as Mr. Marsh’s personal in-home doctor? “Pull one over on me again, I’ll kill you before this thing can.”
