Summary
“Seriously, what’s with all this, El?” Margo asks, daintily eating a seven-layer bar with a fork. “Why the fuck have you gone all domestic goddess on me? Did you decide you’re gonna be a magical dentist when you graduate and you want to guarantee yourself a steady stream of patients?”
“Does there have to be an ulterior motive?” Eliot sets the pan of bars on the table with a little stack of plates and pile of forks. “Can’t I just enjoy taking care of my friends?”

Summary
In the low, silvery light of the moon, Eliot can see Quentin, clearly still asleep, the sheet kicked away from his body. Usually, he sleeps with an undershirt on, but tonight, he’d stripped down to just his boxers—his nipples are crinkled, his mouth open, his cock hard and straining against the fabric of his gray boxer briefs. The little moans falling from his lips are soft and breathy, and his hips are bucking up from the bed, like he’s trying to find something to push against.
Holy fucking gay Jesus—what the fuck—Eliot is going to lose his actual goddamn mind.
Eliot’s watching Quentin Coldwater have an actual sex dream. Here, in his bed, next to him, hair splayed out behind him on his Fillory and Further pillowcase.

“--and remember what it was-- oh, Jesus--”
A spell gone awry gives a grieving Eliot an unknowing glimpse of his (and Quentin's) future.

Summary
“If you’d like to review the full terms and conditions of your deal, you can have as much time as you need to read--”
Eliot shook his head, still not quite used to the way his hair curled below his chin, now, since he hadn’t been around to keep it properly groomed for the last-- however long it had been. God, he hadn’t even bothered to ask.
“You get my deep, dark, never-told secret, and I get the opportunity to try and Orpheus-and-Eurydice Q the fuck out of this place,” he said, cutting through Penny’s bureaucratic power-trip. “I got it the first twelve times.”
“I would strongly advise--”
“I’m ready.”
The corners of Penny’s mouth went up, but it would have been a stretch to call the expression a smile. “No, you’re really not."
The Monster's been defeated, Quentin is dead, and Eliot has a quest of his own--if he can trust himself to complete it. An Orpheus and Eurydice remix.

Summary
He propels the idea out of a cannon. Buries it in the backwoods. Battens down the hatches. But the thought forms all the same.
What if… the axes didn’t work all the way? Maybe a part of The Monster… is still inside him. And it’d found his Happy Place, and was trying to get out.
Well. Shit.
He wants to smile. He wants to laugh. A full body, Coo Coo for Cocoa Puffs cackle. Because otherwise, he’s going to start screaming again. Loud enough to shatter all the glass around them.Bookmarked by Jaymax

Summary
Eliot and Quentin are pining fiercely for each other. They play spin the bottle. Then they're friends with benefits? They don't have a fucking clue. They're both total disasters. Everyone will get a big happily ever after.
~
Tall guys. It was a thing. He didn’t know how much of a thing it was until he’d wandered through the community garden in Manhattan, stumbling out of the cold, leafless bushes and into the bright, warm summer day at Brakebills. He’d felt a thrill when Eliot stepped up to him, cigarette in hand, standing just a little too close and looking him up and down like he was deciding whether not to approve of Quentin’s existence. Eliot’s cool disinterest and his frank assessment of Quentin that very first day… well, that was also a thing. He’d gotten a bit more mentally adventurous in the years since he’d had his secret crush on Colin, and that night, Quentin had an elaborate fantasy involving Eliot deciding whether or not he got to stay at Brakebills by putting him through an increasingly complex series of sexual trials, culminating in Eliot fucking him against the brick wall where he’d been lying out like a bored supermodel the first time Quentin had seen him.

Summary
Quentin Coldwater led a relatively normal, quiet, plain life, as one would expect of an aspiring engineering student. That is, until the charismatic whirlwind of Eliot Waugh burst into his life like a flamboyant storm. The two were collective opposites; where Quentin was dorky and shy Eliot was witty and enigmatic, where Quentin held a very small circle of friends Eliot knew the majority of Manhattan. But despite the raw differences they shared, there was an undeniable connection pooling between the two that neither could seem to ignore.
Mourning the death of his father, Quentin finds himself on Eliot's doorstep one starry spring night. He takes abiding comfort in the warmth of Eliot's skin, the ease of his touch, until what had been a simple kinship shared between close friends falls drastically into something entirely more complicated. As the lines between friendship and something vastly more become blurred, Quentin and Eliot find themselves stranded in some strange, middle place full of hidden feelings and passionate desires. They find a common ground within the horrific tales of their past, but will coming together make them whole or only break them further?
There was a fine line between heaven and hell.

Summary
Quentin was waiting outside leaning against the rental car. He looked like he had ever looked, since: tight and careful and nearly blank but for the unchanging ghost of some secret simmering anger behind his eyes. Brows permanently half-knit and mouth an unmoving line. He was so still now whenever Eliot had seen him. So quiet and so still. Like all his eternal restless longing and that raw ache that had always radiated out from him had been sealed off like a crime scene or a city under siege. Some place Eliot had loved to walk the dirty sidewalks and could no longer go. It was jarring and infuriating and concerning and kind of hot.
(Or: It was decided — not by them — that Eliot and Quentin should take a vacation.)

Summary
Eliot is having a a bit of a delayed quarter-life crisis, as evident by his looking back on his top 5 most memorable breakups, which Quentin Coldwater absolutely didn't make it on, no way, (but he did). At least he can accompany it all with a cinematic soundtrack and have the support of his friends at the record store he barely maintains. Alexa, play "Dammit" by Blink-182.

Summary
Are they forever going to be crashing through each other’s lives like this? They can’t quite seem to converge without a stomach-swerving sort of chaos—not in this world, in this timeline. Certainly not intentionally and mutually, or without shame, regret and shouldn’t haves. So many mistakes that surely didn’t add up to anything worth learning from. Because of course he shouldn’t have slept with Eliot and he shouldn’t look at him either. Not the way he wants to. The way he knows he always has, even when Alice was right there, sharp-eyed and silent, watching Quentin want things he couldn’t have.
Quentin never has been very good at stopping himself from wanting.
Or: Quentin and Eliot have a lot to work out before they can find their way back to one another. And then a whole lot more after that.

Summary
“What’s better than coaxing an ornery, twitchy boy into bed?” Margo asked.
“Coaxing his roommate into my bed,” Kady said.
“Point, Kady,” Margo said.
“I’m not doing it. I need a job. Not a Quentin. I can’t afford to take anyone out. And he said no. I’m going to be waiting tables in Jersey or—”
“Working on a goat farm. I know,” Margo said. “I know you love goats. And drama. It makes sense.” Eliot hated goats. Their eyes. They'd seen things.
Kady put her beer down with a thunk. “I’ll waive your rent for October.”
“You’ll what now?”
“I’ll pay for your date. Waive your rent. Just get Quentin to go to grad school prom with you so Julia will go with me.”
“Jesus, Kady,” Margo drawled. “What’s this girl’s deal? Does her pussy taste like cotton candy?”
Kady groaned. “I wouldn’t know.”
