“Grab a weapon.” clarisse says almost as soon as they get to the arena. She begins to ring her curls into a ponytail while Chris lazily rummages through the rack of weapons, pulls out a normal bronze sword and holds it with the same enthusiasm as holding a skinny stick. “You know, most couples do normal stuff in the morning.” She just grins at him while pulling out her spear before responding, “well we’re not most couples. If you’re gonna be dating me you better get used to this and hold the damn sword like you mean it.” Chris sighs, shaking his head and getting a firm grip on the bronze. Her eyes twinkle with excitement and mischief as she proceeds to circle around him with her spear pointing directly at him. He doesn’t get a chance to fully get into a battle stance before she’s already lunging at him.

So basically clarisse wakes up early for training, wakes up Chris and forces him to spar with her. They take a small break by laying on the grass before they head back to the Hermes cabin and snuggle up togetherPlease give this fic a chance I promise it's cute
