2x08 ALTERNATE ENDING & CONTINUATION
This picks up moments before the season 2 finale ends. Eve and Villanelle need to leave Rome, taking a train to Venice to escape The Twelve.
Basically my take on the story if Eve and Villanelle didn't have time to overthink the gun and had to go on the run together. A first of many chapters that will explore their dynamic away from everyone and everything in Venice. Eventually there will be dates, jealousy, smut, fluff, angst, etc.

Villanelle leaves Russia behind in a pile of smoke, ash, and blood. She is broken and confused from her trip back home, heart heavy with the death of her mother and uncertainty about continuing to work for The Twelve. After a long bus ride and a beautiful song, she realizes that Russia was never truly her home to begin with. She should have seen it from the start: Eve is her past, present, and hopefully future. But how to tell Eve this? And what if Eve doesn’t want to hear it coming from a monster?

Summary
This is based very loosely on a domestic V/E meme I saw where Villanelle says something about having a baby and how she'd name it Konstantin. And Eve says we aren't naming our baby Konstantin. And Villanelle says, "Ours?"
Eve And Villanelle make a huge decisions…irrationally. Meanwhile, Eve investigates a string of murders that has her wanting to get back into the game of finding a killer. This time V helps.
No sadness and no dwelling on finale. It’s touched on and moved on.
“So, you want a baby. Okay. I will get you one.”This conversation has turned so sideways, Eve has to take two deep breaths before she speaks. “Get me one? How do you propose to do that?”
“I’ve gotten one before. The one we threw in the bin. I told you about that.”
Eve shakes her head violently. “No. No you didn’t tell me about the baby you threw in the garbage!”
“Oh,” Villanelle smiles and tells the story of the pianist and Dasha and the baby. “I think I was a bit manic maybe. I’d just found out you were alive.”
“When I found out you were alive, I fainted. I didn’t kidnap a child and then throw it away,” Eve counters.
Villanelle shrugs. “We all deal differently.”
