Getting himself a drink from the bartender, Bucky settles on a stool that allows him to watch her from the corner of his eye. Thirty minutes into sipping his drink, Bucky watches her collect her belongings. She throws her jacket over the crook of her elbow, snags her bag up in her fingertips, and pulls the darts from the board before dislodging the remaining dart from her hair and walking over to---him.
Bucky thought she was returning the darts to the bartender before she left. Instead she came to a stop at his side, dropping her bag on the bar.
"You gonna keep creeping on me or you gonna ask me to go home with you?"
Bucky's eyebrows rise toward his hairline, gaze fixed on her determined reflection in the mirror behind the bottles of liquor. He tosses the last of his drink back with a gloved hand before turning to look her in the eye.
"Join me for a nightcap?"
"Absolutely."
