Summary

Summary
It is the following year that the news comes on a flutter of dark wings; Prince Lucerys Velaryon has flowered and with it their long engagement finally draws to a close. The Princess of Dragonstone and her brood will descend upon King’s Landing in a moon’s turn. There is to be a wedding.
So, it is settled then. Aemond will marry the boy who maimed him, will take him under his protection, bed him and whelp him to his good family’s satisfaction. He will have to follow him all the way back to the yawning maw of his childhood nightmares. He will have to shadow his husband in the halls that witnessed his spilled blood and swallow back the bitter ichor of justice denied.
And maybe then, it will finally be his turn.

A shocked silence spread over the table.
When Aemond presents as a rare alpha-prime, it throws Rhaenyra’s inheritance into question, with many openly calling it a sign from the Gods that Aemond should succeed his father.

“And what are you willing to give me in exchange of your brother’s life?” The god extended his palm to show a flame of red and blue dancing, interconnecting the colors.
“Anything, as long as lekia gets to live a long and happy life as King after muña.”
The god nodded, pleased with the little boy in front of him.
“A crown for a crown. You won’t be your brother’s Queen, but Jacaerys will be King after your mother sits upon the Iron Throne, his reign long and prosperous.”
Luke couldn’t believe it would be that easy.
He shouldn’t have thought that.
“And when the time comes, you shall be mine, to rule besides me.”Aemond kills Jacaerys that night at Driftmark, Luke won't allow his brother to be taken from his side. It has consequences.

Summary
Aemond is an ambitious consultant whose marriage is fallling apart, called in to restructure a small publishing house, High Tide Publishing. He didn't quite expect to run into his nephew Lucerys there (duuh, Aemond, his father owns the company, it's not really that improbable) and Lucerys is clearly being a rude and obnoxious employee, his existance reminding him daily of the mistake they made a few years back.
This is when Aemond's life begins to fall apart at the seams, as there is a high chance of that mistake being repeated.

...Billy's warm skin ignites something in Steve, whenever he places his palm against the blonde's chest to stable himself as he's leaning over too far. Or when Billy's wide calloused hands catch him when he fumbles. When he rubs up Steve's arms with feather light touches and says "I got ya pretty boy" with his thick southern drawl. The brunette always getting lost in Billy's blue eyes, especially when they're that close. Can smell the smoke and mint on his breath. Can feel his breath. He bites his lip and Billy smiles. Dinner is definitely their favorite meal of the day.
