“I’m not going to hurt you,” Technoblade said adamantly.
“Dream, I need Dream.” Tommy sounded desperate, his eyes darting across the beach as if searching for his porcelain savior.
Technoblade's pointed ears pricked up at that and his instincts buzzed angrily up his spine. Even the idea that Dream had somehow roped Tommy into a dependence on him was enough to make Technoblade want to break every bone in the fucker’s body.
“You don’t need him,” Technoblade insisted. “Come on, Tommy. Let me take you home.”
“I don’t have a home,” Tommy whispered, and the tremble of his voice broke something in Technoblade’s stone heart.
“Yes, you do,” he said, as steadily as he could with what might as well have been an arrow lodged in his chest. “You have one with me. That will never change.”
Tommy bit his lip. His ears were quivering slightly, his tail swishing against the sand in a gesture of uncertainty.
“Please, Tommy.” Technoblade softened his voice, the way he used to when Tommy was just a kit in his scrawny, teenage arms.

Summary
As an omega fox hybrid not much was expected of Childe.
Coming from a small seaside town in Snezhnaya the most he was expected of was to settle down with an alpha and make a family. That’s what his parents did, it's what his older siblings were doing but Childe didn’t want to just be another typical omega from a small town. Which is why he packed up his bags first chance he got and left Morespoke.
Now with a promising career and freedoms most omegas his age didn't get he was content.
Though all it took was one arrangement to jumpstart the fall and rise of his life.

"Uses the air currents like feelers, I think," Dream's breath was coming heavier as he carried on running. "Gets an idea of where things are in relation to him. He doesn't always get it right, sometimes there are cracks in things big enough to feel like an escape route and he slams into a wall. Or he doesn't angle close enough to the ground and trips on things. He's uh-" Dream flipped the communicator around, and Techno blinked as Bad flew through the air, screeching the whole way. "He's slippery."
