“Finally got you at your own game.” Shane's smirk widened to a smile, his hand clapping down on Ilya's shoulder to squeeze it slightly. For once in his life, Ilya was unable to find his voice.
“Damn.” Shane laughed, jostling him a bit. “If I had known this was all it took to get you to shut the fuck up, I would have started flirting back years ago.”

When old college friends Ilya and Shane show up to their mutual best friend's wedding, they are ready to fulfill their duties as bridesmen. Even after years of not seeing each other, they fall right back into their usual banter.

“You didn’t ask politely,” Ilya said, a manic grin spreading across his face. His heartbeat was still going crazy, delirious at being thrown around like the ragdoll that he constantly turned Shane into. Ilya wanted to sink his teeth into the vein that popped stark in Shane’s bicep. And he could, and he would, because he understood exactly how this would play out.
There was a distinct, heady power in making Shane obey him, even when the order was to pry Ilya open and knock him loose.
If Shane was going to get the privilege of having his tongue and fingers inside of Ilya, he would have to work for it. Thankfully, his bulking season had really paid off.

Shane let his body relax in Ilya’s grasp, his breath catching in his throat at the blatant praise. Ilya touched a light fingertip in between Shane’s eyebrows, sliding it down the bridge of his nose and over his lips until it was resting on his Adam’s Apple,
“You would look very pretty with a collar right here, yes?” he said, letting himself slide deeper in his accent, “My pretty puppy, humping every soft surface like he is in heat?”
“Ilya. Male dogs don’t go into heat. Their bodies just react to-”
“Maybe is what you need” Ilya suggested, his finger resting on Shane’s Adam’s Apple, “To return to how it felt, when you first felt good. Except now you are mine. Moy milyy shchenok.”

Summary
Ilya shudders, arms giving out from under him, and he collapses onto his elbows. Shane doesn’t realize how badly Ilya needs this, how much it feels like there is an animal clawing at his ribcage, baring its teeth. He wants to be soft, wants to make Shane feel appreciated for all he has done for him tonight; and yet it feels impossible to resist this carnal urge, like all this time he has been a wolf in sheep’s clothing, letting his prey feel useful before going in for the kill.
“I can’t—” Ilya says, breathing already ragged despite his stillness. “I can’t be gentle, Shane.”
He means it as a warning, though it comes out as more of an apology. Shane punches out an exhale, threads a hand into Ilya’s already-damp curls. “Don’t want you to be,” he says resolutely. “Want you to…want you to use me.”

Shane sat on the edge of the lounger, his eyes fixed on Ilya’s hands as he rolled. He was in total awe. Watching Ilya was like watching a master craftsman; there was a fluid sort of grace to the way his large, scarred fingers manipulated the delicate paper. The hands that spent all winter punching pucks and shoving opponents were suddenly performing a task that required the precision of a watchmaker.
He licked the adhesive strip with a quick swipe of his tongue and sealed it, twisting the end into a neat point.
“Fuck” Shane nearly moaned.
Ilya chuckled. “We have not even started moy kotenok. Be patient.”
Ilya grabbed the lighter from the table and lit the end, the cherry glowing a bright, steady orange. He took a small, controlled puff to ensure it was burning evenly, then turned to Shane. “Okay. Do not pull like you are gasping for air. Just a soft breath. Into the mouth, then take a little fresh air with it to the lungs. Then, hold it for a second before breathing out.”

Instead of talking about it, Buck decides that he can be fun too. Then Eddie gets hurt and it’s all his fault. Buck will do anything to be good again so Eddie will forgive him. Even if he hurts himself doing it.
Eddie doesn’t realize until it’s too late that Buck wasn’t just acting out, he was scared. And now he’s dropping hard.

"Okay." Ilya takes a deep breath, letting it out. He lays down, resting his head on a pillow, and lays the phone on his diaphragm after he puts it on speaker. He hums, thinking. "Do you like chai actually? Or your, uh— friend, he decides for you?"
There's a long, long silence after that. Ilya swallows, hoping he hadn't asked the wrong thing. He went on a limb, in a way, because that's what Ilya always does. He assumes things, and butts in where he probably shouldn't and gives boys who look like they're emotionally one foot in the grave notes with his number on it. For some reason.
"No, he doesn’t." Shane says, eventually, and all Ilya's muscles un-tense. "I do really like chai. Caramel chai, mostly, if wherever I go has it."
"This can be arranged." Ilya says, his hands behind his head. "I am very good barista."
Shane snorts, then. Ilya makes it his goal to get him to laugh, and he'd say he's making pretty good progress so far.
Or, Shane is in a severely abusive relationship with his boyfriend, Ash. When they visit a nearby café one day, their server, Ilya, realizes something isn’t quite right between them.
