Summary
Danny just wanted a grilled cheese. That was it. He did not want to accidentally kill the Joker. He did not want to be on Batman’s radar. And he definitely did not want Red Hood to kiss him, cry on him, and then propose all within the span of ten minutes.
But here he is. In Gotham. Standing over Joker’s corpse. With a very emotionally compromised vigilante looking at him like he just hung the damn stars.
Danny is so, so tired.

Summary
The Joker, mid-sip of his Diet Killer-Coke, blinked at the horde of Jokerized fries staring him down.
One fry—a particular fry, taller than the others, with a bent, crispy edge like a villainous mustache—stepped forward.
The leader.
It pointed a greasy limb at the Joker and screeched:
“IMPOSTER.”
Danny watched, horrified, as the Jokerized fries rushed the booth like a swarm of angry, ketchup-covered piranhas.
The Joker barely had time to say, “What the f—” before he was tackled under a wave of his own deep-fried doppelgängers.

Summary
“What do you want from Mingyu?” Jeonghan asks, almost as soon as he’s close enough for his hushed urgency to be audible.
“Nothing, Jeonghan-ssi. That’s the answer. Mingyu and I are friends. That’s all I want—to be his friend.”
Jeonghan could say any number of things to that. Seungcheol can tell from looking at his face that he maybe even wants to say them, to accuse Seungcheol of attempting to put Mingyu in harm’s way or ruin his reputation. Or, perhaps worse, of “corrupting” Mingyu to his political agenda, of trying to subvert the “noble and unimpeachable” monarchy to his own ends.
In the end, though, Jeonghan doesn’t do any of those things. His shoulders relax from rigid power into a comfortable slouch, and his steely expression softens.
“Mingyu…Mingyu could use a friend like you. So I’ll allow it, as long as you tell me what you do and where you go. Mingyu won’t tell me anything, and it’s a nightmare trying to keep that kid safe even within the palace’s walls.”
(Looking back, this is the first time Jeonghan surprises Seungcheol. It won’t be the last.)
