What he hadn’t counted on, though, was Harry Potter’s firm and unmitigated willingness to help.

Draco hadn’t chosen the easy way out. He’d defied his parents and created his own path: whatever people thought, however little money he had, he had built a life for himself. And it was difficult. Hard. But more than he deserved.
Meanwhile, Harry had done exactly what had been expected of him, had moulded his life entirely the way he’d been supposed to. But then Ginny had left him anyway. And it was difficult. Unfair. And not at all what he’d expected.
Which was when he saw Draco Malfoy, clearly not particularly welcome, walking into the Ministry on a Friday afternoon nonetheless.

When the headaches became worse and it got more and more difficult for Draco to work, he was left with no other choice but to recognise his stupid problem exactly for what it was. Even if that meant realising that the best, or perhaps even only, solution could solely come from one person: the one person he hadn’t seen for months, the one person he was still in love with.
The one person who should never know.
Because, clearly, Harry would never be able to give Draco what he needed anyway.

Summary

As Luna and Draco’s friends gather for the weekend, it isn’t only memories of wartime violence that surface. It seems that a lot of the guests have things they want to hide, including murder.
It falls to Harry to solve the mystery, and while he’s at it, to untangle his feelings for Draco Malfoy once and for all.

Draco shifts his head as he turns to look at Scorpius, his cheek touching the pillow. "Did you know that…" He pauses, his throat convulsing, and it sounds audible in the silence, besides Michael's steady, even breathing from the other bedroom.
Scorpius is staring back at him, in wait of something new to learn, a beautiful and intelligent child. He has Draco's mind. He has Draco's eyes and nose and mouth and hair. He is his. All his. All he has of Michael are his wild curls and the green of his eyes, and sometimes he looks into them and imagines that they aren't Michael's, but someone else's.
Draco leans his head closer, biting the quiver out of his lips before he breathes a laden and shuddering exhale, and he whispers, "You are my star in a big black sky."
