“Your shower is so small, treasure.” One of the midfielder’s hands goes up to hold Nagi’s shoulder. It tenses at the sudden touch, Reo spares it no mind.
“Don’t you want to take mine instead?” He lids his eyes, flashing a smile. “Join me?”
“Wouldn’t that be a hassle?” Nagi asks with bored eyes. “We’d have to take turns showering..”
Oh, god no. Not again.

”I’ll take care of you,” Reo muttered, the smile in his voice infectious as Nagi couldnt help but sigh blissfully at the thought.
”It’s rotten work,” Nagi quipped softly in what he’d hoped to express as a lame joke, but the underlying rawness in his grated voice seemed to seep through every syllable of his mouth and into Reo’s chest as the latter stared up at him with so much pure, unwarranted devotion he couldn’t help but feel it too.
”Not to me. Not if it’s you,” Reo’s reply was firm, unlike the softness of his face as it smoothed out pliantly like clay under Nagi’s calloused touch—a silent acceptance to the incurable haemophilia that was his growing adoration for every atom that composed the divinity of Reo Mikage.

Summary
“Uh, Nagi?” A trepidatious voice calls out from the other side of the bathroom door. “Should I call 911? You’ve been non-stop vomiting for, like, an hour.”
“Just a second..."
Nagi frantically stuffs the suit into a wicker laundry basket and closes the lid. He gives the toilet a useless flush, pauses the gagging sounds coming from his phone, and quietly shuts the open window. It’s as inconspicuous as the rookie superhero can manage.
His cautious hand moves to open the door.
“Holy shit,” Reo gasps once the other boy comes into view. “Oh my god, wh– what happened in there?!” Immediately, it’s not a positive comment for Nagi’s cover-up.
His stunned friend grazes a newly raised spot on his forehead, which causes Nagi to wince in immense pain. If the tenderness is any indicator, there's a hematoma taking shape right above his left eyebrow.
So his quick trip to East 6th Street had come with a surprise souvenir. What a pain.
“I…” Nagi really needs to stop being lazy when dodging blows. “... hit my head... on the toilet… ”

“Forget it.” Reo says with a sigh, embarrassed, cursing himself in his head for getting his hopes up, toying with the ribbon tied too tightly on his ponytail to return it. “My bad—”
“Go out with me.” Nagi interrupts, his hands abruptly catching on his hand, softly stopping him from freeing his hair. “Be mine.”
Oh. Never mind, then.
Or, Reo doesn’t expect a perfect date, but his partner proves him wrong. Maybe Reo underestimates Nagi too much in such matters.

Summary
Their sex is great, phenomenal, no notes! It's just… well, Reo ends up doing most of the work, riding Nagi until they’re both done, going down on Nagi when Nagi’s too tired after practice, making sure their cleaned up afterwards, and Reo knows he will not be satisfied with that during his heat if he’s even able to do any of that at all.
Ok, well, maybe Reo has some notes.
With a groan, he sits up and chooses not to think about it anymore. He’s already decided. He’s not telling Nagi he’s going into heat, he’ll ride it out himself like he normally does, and everything will be fine.
Nagi will never know.
Reo won’t let himself ask for what he wants, but thankfully Nagi always knows what he really needs.
or, Reo goes into heat, decides to not tell his very new boyfriend, but doesn’t realize that Nagi has been tracking his heat since high school.
