UPDATE 3 (OCT 2025): Still in school but do have a laptop. I have read the manga, but I'll be waiting for the next anime release before I start Cherry Tomatoes back up. I've just been away from the fandom for too long (unless divine inspiration hits earlier, which I may rewrite some parts of the book!)

When Lucretia squeezed your hands again with those pleading eyes (God, why did she have to be so sincere?) Tom suddenly straightened up and took a slow sip of his drink before speaking, loud enough this time for everyone at the table to hear.
“Or,” Tom’s fingers drummed once on the edge of his glass before continuing. “We could save your friend the trouble, and let me take her out instead.”
The table went abruptly silent. Even Abraxas blinked owlishly between you both while Lucretia’s jaw actually dropped slightly (whether from shock or delight was impossible to tell). Tom just tilted his head, studying their reactions like some sociologist observing an experiment gone right— before flicking his gaze back down toward where you sat frozen beside him.
Because really? Fuck subtlety now.
Or alternatively, you’ve been in love with your best friend, Abraxas Malfoy ever since high school, Tom thinks it’s time for him to do something about it or let the bottled feelings choked up in his throat.
