Robert wasn’t too fond of Valentines Day, he wasn’t totally against the holiday or anything like that, he tolerated it at best, but it wasn’t something he personally partook in. That is until Flambae came along.

Flambae saunters over to Robert’s cubicle and perches on the edge of his desk, arms crossed over his very much exposed chest. “Bob-Bob, you on patrol tonight?”
“Hello to you to, Chad.” Robert teases, leaning back in his seat, on hand rests on the arm of his chair, the other gently lands on Flambae’s knee. His thumb rubs light circles around the joint.
Flambae rolls his eyes fondly. “Yeah, yeah, hello Bob-Bob, are you on patrol or not?”
“I am, won’t be home until late, around eleven I think.” Robert replies, his hand moving up Flambae’s leg to his inner thigh. It wasn’t inherently sexual, just a motion Robert did frequently to ground himself or keep Flambae close.
Flambae hums thoughtfully, tapping his bicep. “Hm, I’m not waiting up for your dumbass then. Enjoy your patrol, Mecha Bitch.”

It was...nice seeing Robert so happy and comfortable. He'd heard briefly about the relationship between Robert and his dad during one of their shitty late night therapy talks, more so the lack of it and how Chase had been there for him instead. It's why he respected him so much, and respect went a long way in Flambae's books. He knew the man was only trying to protect Robert, and it was something Flambae could relate to, a silent understanding between the two of them. It did not mean he was happy to spend some quality time with his brother/father in law however.

Summary
Flambae is almost asleep when he feels a pair of hands sliding up his thighs. He snaps his eyes open and looks down — and there’s Robert. His hair is messy, his face hidden in the dark shadows of the room. Flambae has no idea if this is a sleep-deprivation hallucination or alcohol still in his system, but the way Robert touches him feels real. Too real.
After a night of getting dragged into a bar fight at The Sardines and eating tacos from a questionable late-night joint with the Z-Team, Flambae gets home and starts questioning his feelings about Robert… until things heat up.
