Summary
Han Jisung has everything under control.
At least, that's what he tells himself.
A college project pairs him with Lee Minho, an alpha who notices things he shouldn't and asks questions Jisung isn't prepared to answer. So he keeps his distance. Keeps his routine. Keeps himself hidden. Which becomes difficult when Minho joins the friend group.

And when his alpha kicks him out and he has to stay with Jeongin's pack, Hyunjin just wants to get out as quickly as possible and go back to his own life. In no uncertain terms can he reawaken the feelings for Jeongin. And he is not going to let a pretty sunshiny omega get under his skin.
Or: Hyunjin is in an abusive relationship and desperately needs some breathing room to figure himself out.
FYI: This is a world where the lines between subgenders are a little more blurred and fluid. It is within the backdrop of typical omegaverse dynamics and tropes, just a little to the left.

He hated situations were a lot of people he didn't want would be hitting on him, reminding him of what he couldn't have - case in point, a party full of people working in the entertainment industry. Still, he went to a couple of them every year, in the name of shutting down any rumour of him and his producing partners possibly disbanding.or: an omegaverse fic where Chan is a producer deeply ashamed of the fact that he's attracted to other Alphas and Jeongin's a way too high profile Alpha struggling to navigate his newfound fame.

Jisung chuckles at the flattery, dropping his hand in a prim wave. “And what’s that hyung?”
“Roll over, show your belly, and do whatever this guy tells you to do.”
Jisung’s mouth drops open, indignant, and pushes back in his chair full force. “Hey! What the hell? I do not–” he starts to sputter, going red in the face. “I do not roll over and, and show my belly! I’m! I’m a big bad alpha!”

He was out of breath, his vision narrowed to what lay before his feet, when he reached his car. What should have been a welcome sight punched him in the gut, and he let out a sob.
The tires were flat.
Frantically looking over his shoulder, he had to think quickly. They were definitely slashed; the gaping knife hole on the one closest to him wasn’t even trying to hide. The sound of boots on pavement behind him brought him out of his momentary panic, and he set off.
Not knowing where to go, Hyunjin ducked down alleys and tried to find somewhere to hide.
But there was nothing.
His chest and head pounded in time with his feet, each step sending a shock of impact into his knees and a spark of pain all through his body. He was nearing the outskirts of the city and the rich forest beyond it before he realized where he was.
He knew this road. He’d been down it before, years ago, but there might be hope.
