Before Sanji could turn around, the sharp sword came down, fabric ripped with a sharp shrrk, his black shirt splitting clean across the back from shoulder blade to waist. He didn't feel it, didn't care. Mid-spin, he launched another Collier Shoot, smoke curling from his lips.
But the crew saw.
Zoro caught it first, mid-swing—three swords pausing a beat too long. Black ink? Swirling lines, intricate as some ancient tattoo, peeking through the shredded cloth. Not some dumb heart or skull. Something dark spread across his entire shoulder blades. He shook it off, bellowed "Oi, cook! Eyes front!" but his gaze flicked back.

Some number of hours and instructions later, Franky is proudly explaining his new dishwashing machine to the rest of the crew as Sanji gathers plates by the stack from the dinner table.
Zoro stands from the table, gathering the cleared dishes as he heads to the sink.
“Those will only need a rinse, Marimo,” Sanji informs him. “Franky’s machine will handle the rest.”
Zoro pauses in the middle of the kitchen. He turns his head and stares at the machine for a moment, brow low. Then, he turns and sets the stacks of plates down, glancing back over to the blond.
“Guess you won’t need me then, huh, Cook,” Zoro remarks.
Sanji straightens before he means to. The plates balanced on his elbow waver but adjusts to keep them aloft.
…Sanji hadn’t thought of that.

“What’s your name?” he asks, because if their patient is conscious, he might as well tell them. There’s something uncomfortably detached about referring to someone as “that guy” when you’ve seen half of their innards spilling out. “I’m Sanji,” he offers when he gets no immediate response, and he itches for a cigarette to entertain himself with while the man pulls his feet under him like a newborn lamb.
In the faint moonlight and backlit with the light from the hallway, he’s both deathly pale and bathed in shadows that make him look gaunt and distraught. His hand reaches up to his throat, not touching, just hovering, and he opens his mouth on a word, his lips dry, pink with small cracks that threaten to break and well up with blood. No sound leaves him.
His hand drops, mouth closing with a clack of teeth gnashing together, swallowing down ire instead of words.
Sanji frowns. “Can you talk?”
His stomach drops at the glare that earns him. Vicious and a little wild around the edges, like he’s mad Sanji even dared to ask.

As million followers approaches, Nami tells Zoro that despite streaming for 8 years his viewers know next to nothing about him. Despite having no desire to share his personal life, Nami insists he collaborate with Luffy, Usopp and Sanji for more down to earth content, where he can take time to answer questions, and have conversation.
His viewers become fast fans of Zoro’s and Sanji’s content together. Their bickering, name calling and chemistry on camera have their fans wanting more. Zoro hates that it feels like he’s sharing a side of himself, a side that only comes out when Sanji is around. He much rather be a background character, so his obvious pining for Sanji doesn’t show up on camera.
As their fan bases grow and merge, Zoro isn’t sure who will find out about his feelings first; Sanji or his viewers, live on twitch.

The eyebrow Zoro can see curls like a nautilus shell at the outer edge.
“Afternoon," he says blandly. “I’m here to take your order.” Zoro only just refrains from scoffing.
“For what?” he asks.
“Your last meal.”

He and Sanji had been in the same class since middle school, and they had been eternal rivals since day one. They fought constantly, always getting in each other’s hair and on each other’s nerves. Every day he was determined to defeat Sanji, and his heart sang whenever Sanji rose to his bait, came back at him and gave just as good as he got.
Perona said he had a crush on him, which was ridiculous. Zoro didn’t do crushes, okay? Sure, Sanji was pretty cute all things considered, silky blond hair that looked like spun gold, bright blue eyes reminiscent of the sky, a swirled eyebrow that only served to draw him in further, and a crooked smile that radiated sunshine whenever it appeared. And yeah, Zoro thought about the guy constantly — because he was annoying — and always wanted his attention on him no matter what else was going on, but that didn’t mean he was in love with him or anything.
When Zoro takes Hiyori to the school carnival, they run into Osome and Sanji and decide to make it a double date. Zoro doesn't have a crush on Sanji, okay? It just pisses him off when Sanji's attention is on someone other than him...
