“But I didn’t drink it. Aaron drank it. While looking at me.”
“So, what, Aaron’s in love with you now?” Neil asks. Aaron scoffs, a blush rising on his cheeks. He takes a straw from one of the empty glasses on the table and flicks it across the table at Neil, who bats it away.
“This is stupid. And it’s bullshit. Love potions are not real. Besides, I wouldn’t need a potion to fall in love with Kevin. He’s wonderful.”

E diante dos criados no pátio e dos próprios deuses no céu azul acima deles, Damen se inclina o suficiente para se aproximar de Laurent e encontrar seus lábios para o beijo mais suave que Laurent jamais imaginou ser possível vindo de um homem como Damen.
Dura apenas alguns segundos antes de Damen interromper o beijo, e Laurent quer abrir a boca e dizer algo, qualquer coisa, mas Damen volta para outro beijo, e depois outro, e lentamente distribui beijos do canto da boca de Laurent até o canto do olho.
