Summary
The thing about Steve Harrington is that if there’s something he can do to make things even a little bit easier for the people he loves, he’s going to do it. Be it throwing himself headfirst into a fight with an interdimensional monster or just carrying around extra clothes in his car that will fit his friends just in case they need it. That’s something that will never not be true about Steve. So when he figures out that he’s probably some kind of queer, and he thinks about how scared Robin is that people will treat her differently for it, and he thinks about how maybe some of his kids might be some kind of queer too and are afraid to be themselves, its an easy decision for him to be out and proud about it.
or; Steve decides that he'll be openly Out to the party and the town to show his friends its okay to love who they love and create a safe space for them within the group but He kinda forgets that he's allowed to make coming out about himself too. Eddie helps.

Steve hadn’t planned on getting involved with the government, not in any real way. But after the last Upside Down incident, when they wanted him to disappear quietly—probably to keep all the monsters and mayhem under wraps—he saw an opportunity.
They tried to pay him off.
Somehow, with a few veiled threats, some very creative blackmail (involving a tape, a senator, and a very confused Demodog), and a lot of stubborn charm, Steve walked away with a huge property on the edge of the forest and a blank check to “make it livable.” Livable for a small army, that is.
Or, Steve builds the party & co. A pack house after blackmailing the government into giving him the funds for it bc he's just a mom trying his hardest- oh and he gets himself a boyfriend!

It’s a well known fact that Buck is a good guy. Everyone knows that. Hell: the LAFD as a whole probably knows how good of a guy Buck is. He did save a dozen people during the tsunami while he was off duty while he was recovering and on blood thinners. A feat that the 118 hadn’t been aware of until one year after the tsunami, when one of the victims spoke up and named him as Firefighter Buck. The LAFD had recognized him for his bravery and Buck? He’d brushed it off like it was nothing.
So yeah, Buck’s a good guy. A great guy. But does he know how great he is? You would tell him and he would probably brush it off and tell you he’s just as good as everyone else.
The 118 know this, of course they do, but it all starts to come into clarity for them on a
stormy day when Buck shows up to work looking like a wet dog and one by one, they notice the little things that Buck does for them.Or: a 7+1 where the 118 realize just how GOOD Buck is. Comfort, no hurt.
