That’s when she sees the way Clint is looking at her, like he’s specifically said this to remind her of that fact. Like maybe, finally, she’ll figure out who is going with her. “You know, don’t you? You know who's coming with me.”
“Well he should, he practically begged me.” That voice, the accent, all of it sends a tremble down Kate’s spine. She’s seen that face outside of her work on that stupid billboard for months and yet when she turns around, the sight of her in person still makes her stomach flip.

Yelena flapped her hands impatiently. “Yes, whatever, cut the deal.” The archer in the kitchen had an odd expression that she quickly wiped away. “For each question you ask, I answer. And for each question I ask, you answer.”
Kate lit up, suddenly animated. “Like twenty questions.”
“I do not know why you want to ask twenty. That is excessive, Kate Bishop.”
“No, it’s a game, like truth or-...you know what, don’t worry about it.”
Yelena replied dryly, “I am very far from worried, Kate Bishop.”
SUMMARY: Yelena seeks to rekindle a connection with Kate in the aftermath of the void.

They ask each other a bunch of questions and Yelena realises she never needed to be alone. That if she asked, (and maybe even if she didn’t), Kate would always be willing to catch her when she stumbled.
