Summary
Kirishima's never really considered what Bakugou might be like when he was drunk and he’s curious to find out, albiet a bit apprehensive. This was still Lord Explosion Murder that he was dealing with, after all.
Bakugou stops in the middle of the room, taking in all of the manly posters on the walls, eyeing suspiciously at the punching bag as if he’s never seen one before in his life. He sways, frowns, and squints dangerously. Kirishima tenses in preparation for some snarky comment about his inability to decorate but all that comes out of Bakugou’s slurred mouth is, “This ain't my fuckin' room.”
Wow, okay, maybe he’s a lot more drunk than Kirishima first thought.

Kirishima can't imagine who would be trying to talk to him so late on a school night, but when he opens the door and finds Bakugou Katsuki drunk, he can't just turn him away, right? What kind of a friend would he be if he did that?

Midoriya blanched. “You think Kacchan is interested in Utsushimi?”
He seemed doubtful, so Ashido shoved Kirishima’s phone in his face. “Do you see this smile? That is the smile of boy who is head-over-heels smitten, am I right?”
Midoriya actually took the time to look at the picture critically, though he shot an uneasy look towards Kirishima before he answered. “Umm, y-yeah,” he said as he started to back away, hiding behind Uraraka like a shield. “It definitely looks like Kacchan is in love.”

“I’m not doing this for you,” Bakugou mumbles. His lips brush the bare skin of Kirishima’s back because Kirishima sleeps shirtless—of fucking course he does. Shirtless is pretty much his constant state of being.
“Obviously,” Kirishima confirms. “You’re doing it for yourself.”
Bakugou wants to laugh. He wonders if there’s anyone else in the world that can possibly understand him better than Kirishima does. He would be okay if there wasn’t, as long as Kirishima doesn’t stop offering Bakugou things like his broad back and contagious happiness and his steady, outstretched hand.

Bakugou is all fire and rage and sparks flying from the palms of his hands, fighting tooth and nail to be the best, to be number one, to survive another day. But now, in this isolated and frigid cave, he is cool, he is collected, he has accepted that he may very well die in excruciating pain without seeing the love of his life again.

Summary
Eijirou stops at the edge of the drop cloth, next to the buckets of paint and collection of brushes and rollers and other miscellaneous supplies. There’s a worn piece of paper there too, a familiar doodle of a house, and as Eijirou bends down to retrieve the drawing, he feels the first tears begin to fall. He looks up and meets Katsuki’s gaze, but when he tries to speak no sounds come out, emotion constricting his throat and choking off his words.
But Katsuki gets it. He glances back at the siding. “I hate this colour,” he says with a shake of his head. “And honestly, I kind of hate this house.” Those eyes are back on Eijirou then, and the redhead feels his heart flutter in its rhythm at the intensity in that gaze, at the passion burning in those crimson irises. “But I love you. I love you so fucking much. And I think that’s enough.”
