Taken aback, Lyney looked at Aether, a little confused.
“A secret of mine...?”
“It can be anything you want.”
Lyney placed a thumb under his chin, taking the time to think about it.
“Alright,” he said after a while.

Summary
While Shen Qingqiu must return to Cang Qiong Mountain, Luo Binghe realizes demons aren't all too happy with a human cultivator being their King's spouse.
Luo Binghe cannot stand for this. He can even less after he uncovers new half-demon abilities, one of which allows him to smell emotions.
Thankfully, this ability also means he can smell Shen Qingqiu's own feelings.

He doesn't have much memory of that time, but if there's one thing he can tell with certitude, it's that it doesn't matter whether he's a mystic being, a cursed snake, or a mortal...he will never be free. He can't even begin to dream of mercy.
—“...‘Eliminate my kind’ huh? Why the rescue, then?” That part Crowley just simply cannot make sense of. “I guess it’s not for my pretty eyes, is it?”
Aziraphale purses his lips lightly but the way his gaze falls to the floor gives away he feels remorse.
“Your kind doesn’t usually look so...human.”

Summary
There was something on Aziraphale's mind. Something that kept tickling his curiosity about the human activity that was "sleeping".
Crowley was a real Master in this field. Aziraphale, on the other hand, was struggling with the concept.With a demon that was now developing a habit of sleeping in the flat above his bookshop almost every night, Aziraphale just couldn't hold it anymore.
“I think... I think I would like to try it.”
“Really?”
Crowley sounded too perplexed and too mocking for Aziraphale's liking, but the angel meant what he had said, to his own surprise, and so he nodded with determination.
“Yes. Yes, really. But I am not certain of the... process.”
“So basically, you're asking me to help.”

“Leorio, you’re just rambling,” Kurapika interrupts. “What exactly is it that you want from me?”
Leorio groans.
“God damn it, that’s just the thing, isn’t it? You think of life so transactionally. It’s not that I want something from you, Kurapika. I just want you.”
And at last, Melody’s close enough to discern Kurapika and Leorio’s heartbeats.
Leorio’s is thundering as if it were trying to escape the confines of his chest. As if everything inside of it was too large to be contained, and, if unhindered, would swell large enough to rival the sea beside them.
Kurapika’s is frantic and overwhelmed, filled with so many contradictions that Melody struggles to identify a single emotion on its own.
Walking home along the Yorknew seaside, Melody overhears far more than she anticipated.

Summary
“Sometimes I wonder what would have happened if she hadn’t found me.”
Well that doesn’t answer a lot of questions, but the sinking feeling that washes over him supplies enough of any answer he needs. Whatever he planned to do, the traveler already has a decent idea of what it was even without a full explanation.

A sort of character study/love letter to Lyney and Aether, their shared issues, and how they are special to each other. Lots of comforting and soft moments, I promise this is a good one!

He traces the edges of Lyney’s mirror with the tips of his gloved fingers and Lyney somehow finds himself transfixed by the simple motion, his mouth dry. Aether looks back at him over his shoulder. "Are you nervous now?”
Lyney’s chuckle is more of a breathless gasp. “Whatever made you think that? A genius magician such as myself does not get nervous—certainly not before an audience as delightful as you.”
Or: Lyney tries his hand at the art of romance but things don't go quite as planned
