Summary
A jagged cough interrupts, and Tommy can’t help but swivel behind him once again, but he really wishes he didn’t. He wished he feigned ignorance and kept his eyes forward, oblivious in his daydreams.
His stomach plummets, anyway.
Any peace he might have hoped for shatters instantly, and he’s drowning again, head dunked into ice-cold water. Lungs burning, hands clawing at his throat.
He needs to scream, to feel it rip through his vocal cords. To run. His hands tremble, there’s sweat pooling in his collar, and his eyes are watering, and adrenaline is pumping in his veins, and there’s ringing in his ears and vomit in his mouth because-
Sam is sitting at the end of the very back row, with his gas mask and a fresh suit.
Sam is sitting at the end with a trident propped up, and a long chain attached to-
Sam is sitting at the end, next to Dream.

A wedding, betrayals and constant fear

Summary
XD was dying.
It had been slow at first. Insignificantly small pieces of him were being ripped out and, as his being as a whole was infinite, he’d barely noticed.
But for months, years maybe, his divinity had been slowly depleting, until one day he realized that his connection to Limbo had been almost completely severed. A whole chunk of him was about to no longer exist. And it was a small fraction of an infinite, but it was one he could no longer ignore regardless.
From there, it kept getting worse. The human, Dream, the one that was stealing away his being piece by piece, was getting greedier. More impatient. More foolish. XD needed to stop his act of hubris.

"You know, you could use your chosen one to carry out your bidding” Foolish pointed out after a moment of reflection. “But nobody is gonna rally beside Tommy right now. They’ve all been wounded far too deeply by the events you refused to stop. There is no understanding between them. No empathy. No care. They’re divided, scattered, lost. We need to fix that from the roots”.

Summary
A scarred hand slowly turned the page, puzzled as to what the familiar handwriting meant. The two had never really spoken to Connor before yet the onesie clad man had suddenly shown up and handed a book over, explaining that it would tell them what they needed to know before he left without another sound.
Or; Connor gives a book to Sapnap and Quackity, penned by one Karl Jacobs.
Or; Apollo wants to test reactions to some of her headcanons and wrote a book with a lot of italics to punish herself.
Note: This story contains themes of self-harm (scratching, biting and hair tugging, though Karl's not aware of it and panic attacks), derealisation, manipulation (thanks Exdee and HD you asses) mentions of blood and mentions of death.
