Summary
There was a deep, unsettling wrongness that Knockout just couldn’t shake, no matter how hard he tried. It crept into his spark, keeping him restless, making him wake up in the middle of the night just to check if Breakdown was still there. He knows it's stupid. At first, he brushed it off—he wasn’t the type to believe in gut feelings. But as the days passed, the unease only grew, making him question things he never had before. Making him think about Breakdown, about a safer future.
To his surprise, on a quiet night drive beneath Jasper’s streetlights, a conversation with someone unexpected made him pause.
Made him wonder. Was he on the right side of this war…can he keep Breakdown safe?Or was there still time to change their fate?

Summary
He turned again to look at the autobot that had just saved him. He had risked his spark to save someone. Not just someone, him. The con that only earlier today was about the smash his head in without a hesitation.
Bulkhead took a step back and raised his arms slightly, ready to defend himself.
"But he-"
"Do you plan on joining their ranks anytime soon! No! Then be done with it already!" He screamed as he overly dramatically twitched his wings.
He looked over at bulkhead, then back at his commander.
"But Starscream, he saved me. I'll let him go this time."
"Oh?" He glared at the autobot. "So have you officially gone soft or what? You think this autobot cares about you? He only saved you because he didn't want humans to have our technology! Don't let his false kindness fool you!"
"Look I'm tired. Let's just go." He frowned at the commander, and the commander frowned back. They both seemed to forget about the autobot standing only inches away.

Summary
The thing about Jasper was that it was small. There were maybe a hundred people living there, tops, and being out in the middle of the desert didn’t exactly put them in a prime position for exciting events. So like with any small town, when something noteworthy did happen, it was the only thing anybody talked about.
And the only thing anyone was talking about today was the shiny red convertible that had just rolled in.

Miko gets kidnapped, but it's fine, because the guy who's kidnapping her doesn't want to hurt her or anything. He just needs her help getting his husband out of jail. He'd do it himself, but he's a giant robot truck, so he can't exactly walk up to the guy at the impound lot and hand over his license and registration, and unfortunately she's the only human he knows that he doesn't think will immediately turn him over to the other giant robot trucks (and cars, and motorcycles, etc.).

“Oh Primus... what did they do to him?” Suddenly Knockout was pulled from his thoughts and felt his plating crawl at the tone of voice Bulkhead used as the Autobots supposedly found whom they were looking for. The chatter that followed next sounded almost like static to Knockout, and he only caught a few key words;
“He’s completely open-“
“-human transplant-“
“...it doesn’t look good.”When Breakdown's spark signature pops back up Knockout decides to go to the Autobots for help as a last resort. Will it even be worth it in the end though? Fixing the plot because they did Breakdown dirty.
