Summary
All Lilith could feel is pain. Overwhelming, all-encompassing pain. Her skin fluctuates between a cold burn and a freezing flame. An intense throbbing radiates through her stomach, pulsing along to the rhythm of her heartbeat. Garcia doesn’t know what to say so she puts a light hand on Santos’s back, and when she doesn’t reject the touch, Garcia starts to move it up and down and up and down, slow and steady and gentle as she closes the distance between their chairs and leans in close so she can keep her voice low.
“Trinity,” she murmurs, “we both know that’s not true.”
Santos shakes her head again and chokes out an empty laugh. “Fuck off,” she manages, but without any bite behind it, and her bouncing knee is starting to lose steam.
“Make me,” Garcia replies without missing a beat.
