It should have been a boring day for Alex. Until the heroes make Morgan kill him.
For an S tier like Alex death is less than permanent, but he comes back to a world that has moved on from him, and a very different Morgan to the one he left behind.
This was entirely inspired by and based on 'The One Where Alex Dies' by Moooses, where I started to think about what would happen if Alex came back after Morgan has basically gone feral. And I came up with this so enjoy.

“You’re not wearing your ring,” Deku says by way of explanation.
Katsuki stops. Deku sounds as if those words in that order should make perfect sense.
“My ring?” He bites out incredulously. “What fucking ring?”
(Katsuki is hit by a quirk that transports him to a world where everything is vaguely the same. Except, of course, people are routinely bombing government buildings,

"Kac...chan...?"Bakugou quickly stood up and put on his stances. Ready to blow out the villain that interrupts their mission when his body froze as he recognises the figure before him.
Bakugou was surprised himself. In the middle of the room. His childhood friend were watching him with wide eyes. In front of him, strewn laptops and cables attached to the security computer. The security screen shows countless live feeds of the lower floor where the fight between heroes and villain occur from every angles. In the greenette ears a wireless headset with a mic on his mouth
It didn't take long for Bakugou to connect the dots
"You're a fricking villain?!” His voice pierced right into Midoriya's heart, “You're so dead now Deku!"

Summary
The Underground: a network of vigilantes supported and directed by the Hero Commission to assist in maintaining the structure of Hero Society through any means necessary.
Izuku descended into the Underground after the War, a quirkless medic with no future. Presented with a deal of a lifetime. He entered the doors of Illusion and into the laps of Heroes spilling all their secrets and wants. Strings of Hero Society plucked by the Commission while Izuku and his crew deal with criminals in forgotten areas of the city. Whatever missions the Commission throws at them just a bonus.
There are whispers of a new threat growing in the city and, to make matters worse, Izuku finds himself with the eyes of the Number One hero on him. A slippery slope into something Izuku can't escape.
If there’s anything Izuku has learned as a vigilante and spy, it’s that everything is not what it seems.

Faint crackling electricity, like the fabric of a windbreaker rubbing against itself, covering the sound of shifting rubble and settling dust. It’s a sound Katsuki’s heard a thousand times before, usually preceded with a shout from Deku saying One For All-
“Full Cowling,” Katsuki whispers, staring and grasping for words. “What the fuck.”
Deku is standing near Katsuki’s feet, back bowed forward like Atlas and body lit up with a green so bright it’s incandescent. Blackwhip escapes from his arms in countless tendrils, lightning arcs off his body every second, and there’s a faint tremble running through his legs.
He’s terrifying. He’s beautiful.
He’s holding the fucking building on his shoulders.

As Midoriya struggles to keep them both alive, refusing to give even an inch, Bakugou realizes some crucial things and refuses to leave without Midoriya by his side.

Stuck in a ghost-like state, the boy enters a race against time in order to save himself from permanently dying. Much to his luck - or lack of it -, the only person who can see and talk to him in this state is no one other than Kacchan.

The ocean wind ripped through the harbor, billowing behind the hemp sails overhead, and ruffling the Warrior and G’raha’s hair into mussed messes. The Warrior held up a visoring hand to ward off the pelting salty brine, with a tiny grin still on their face. Their eyes drifted to G’raha’s, and the Warrior’s eyebrows darted upwards in a subtle motion, as though saying ’well, here we are.’ And there they were, indeed, despite their scuffling, impromptu beginning. G’raha couldn’t help but break an easy stoicism with an egging look such as that. He was only happy he couldn’t see the lengths of where his dopey smile reached. There they were, adventuring, properly this time. Without care or demand.
Some overeager silvery fish leapt to and fro on either side of the boat, ushering them further into the deep sea. Across the Indigo Deep, directly to the frosty rivers crafted from the weeping snow capped mountains of Dravania. From one wintery chill, to another. From Sharlayan, to Ishgard.

This is the story of my miqo'te Warrior of Light Evi'a Llyrhai's time on the First. This will loosely follow Shadowbringers, but there will be a number of divergences from the main plot that will likely increase as the story goes on.
