Summary
The world changes, then changes again when the four boys divorce from each other's lives.
Thinking optimistically, at least Kyle no longer had to hang out with Cartman. But he would sacrifice his sanity and dive headfirst into the old days if it meant getting one more day with Stan.
He would never let himself admit that in the light of day. But sometimes it seems the only way to get there is procrastinating life, getting in drunken fights, yelling at therapy trees and fisting (in a totally not gay way).

Bookmarker's Notes
Love it! So fun to read and practically single-handedly revived my love for fanfiction. My only wish is that’d be updated more frequently, but when it does get updated, the chapters are long and worth it. Consider checking it out if you don’t mind unfinished works!

Bookmarker's Notes
Just like Project E.R.I.C., this is also truly a masterpiece. I cried so hard during the last chapter, that I couldn't even see my screen anymore. I full on sobbed for more than an hour and had to call up a friend for emotional support, THAT's how hard this hit me. It’s so well written, and the depictions of mental health are (painfully) realistic. The author--who is also one of the sweetest people I've ever had the pleasure of talking to--has a phenomenal way with words that's easy to digest but also manages to fully immerse you. This fic rivals most published books, and has stuck with me like no other story has. I've been through a lot of the things the characters have, and my heart goes out to anyone else who relates. All the characters feel so real, they have flaws, they have nuance. The way they interact with each other is so natural. I completely forget that this is about SOUTH PARK when I read it. I've tried to reread it several times, but I can't help but cry after the first few sentences. For anyone considering reading this fine work of art, please note the following: DEAD DOVE. DO NOT EAT.
Please take a good look at the tags and take them *seriously*. Some scenes can be extremely triggering and if you are not in the right mindset, I do not recommend reading it. Even if it is absolutely amazing, it's not worth sacrificing your personal well-being, I know the author would agree. And lastly, there is one pretty serious thing that isn't explicitly mentioned in the tags because it would ruin the "surprise" (for lack of a better word). Keep that in mind when reading. Definitely check out part 2&3, too. I haven't read part 2 yet because I had to take a break from all the sadness, but I've read three (You don't have to read the second book to understand the third, but I recommend it anyway, it'll probably provide more clarity for certain parts, and I definitely intend on reading it when I find the time.) If you're still reading this, I'm amazed. I hope you'll enjoy this fic as much as I did.(update: I read part 2… and just as expected, it was phenomenal. Fucking heartbreaking, but absolutely worth it. I 100% recommend reading all three if you have the time/the mental capacity!)

Bookmarker's Notes
I have so much to say about this work. First of all, wow. Just wowWOW. The way this author writes prose is just... to gawk at. At times, I felt like I was in the friend group; part of the story. The way they spoke and interacted with each other was so natural, they all had such great chemistry. They truly felt like life-long friends. And the way this story managed to tackle such dark subjects while simultaneously making me laugh was... unparalleled. It made me laugh without making the more dark themes feel like jokes. The story is humorous, without making the fit feel like a joke. This note is being left while I'm in a hurry, and will be edited at a later point in time, because I have so much more to say. I only wish there was more. 175k words was NOT enough. LOVED IT.

Bookmarker's Notes
One of the most bittersweet stories I've ever read, I left a whole in-depth note on the first book in the series (Sincerely, your super-best-friend Kyle.) Somehow, the author managed to make this one even MORE heartbreaking than the last, but I enjoyed every second of it. Like I said in the other note: If you're considering reading this, beware of the tags. Take your time to read through them. This story has a serious case of "Dead dove, do not eat." and can be extremely triggering at times. That's not to say that the story isn't stock full of moments that made me laugh, though. I seriously enjoyed every second of reading this. I think I discovered 45 new emotions that I didn't know I was capable of having before reading this. It was a real rollercoaster. I'm--in all honesty--a genuine fangirl. The ending couldn't have been written better, it was beautiful.
