Jason watched as the man cleared his throat dramatically—shifting his stance wider, standing taller and splaying out his broad shoulders as he bellowed: “I’m Superboy Prime!”
Several beats of silence followed as Jason tried and failed to process this information. He flicked his eyes down to the man’s expansive chest and for the first time registered that he wore the emblematic S—the red sigil boldly contrasted by black. Jason blinked for what felt like several moments as he stared at the S on the man’s chest—the symbol of hope that Jason’s always known, but it looked just far enough away from the original that it felt strange—and tried to wrap his mind around what was going on here.

Jason is out on a mission and when things go sideways, he finds himself facing certain death. Until a mysterious red-caped blur saves him! Superboy Prime is here, which means Jason has to deal with this new possible threat, but wait... he's kinda cute? Prime leaves an impression on Jason and it feels like he can do nothing but submit to it.

Summary
Peter knew that Peter Parker had to disappear if his universe had any chance of not imploding on itself. He knew this and he accepted it. It was an easy decision to make when the lives of his loved ones were at risk.
He expected to be forgotten, to be Peter Nobody and Spider-Man. He had not expected to wake up in the body of an alternate version of himself, practically a toddler, homeless, and living in New Jersey of all places. He especially did not expect to have someone else along for the ride. He supposes he really should have expected the worst when Parker Luck comes into play.

Cassandra Wu-San Cain-Wayne meets destitute Peter Benjamin Parker in Gotham's abandoned opera house. He is a meta, which violates Bruce's rules, but Cass understands that he means well. It helps that he enjoys taking photos of her dancing.
The obvious solution is to sneak him into Wayne manor and see how long it takes for anyone to notice.

Summary
Peter Parker's life doesn't need an influx of new, distinctly spidery Spider-Man powers. He would gladly spend the rest of his days not creating tiny spiders from nowhere, for example. Like, in a, "yes please, I'll take two orders of the 'no spider-parenthood lifestyle,' hold the whip" kind of way. And that's only the start of how certifiably nuts his life has gotten lately.
But... okay, the spiders are pretty cute. And the other powers, well, aren't horrible. He supposes. And if Deadpool seems to think his new spidery skills are great and interesting and hot (which is weird, but not as objectionable as Peter would expect), that's... that's not so horrible, either.
Alternatively: Peter's powers are a joke, he's broke, and his love life... isn't all that DOA.
